Best battle scene of any book I’ve read
Wow where to start. I have just spent the last four days reading all 7 books and honestly I feel a bit wrung out. First, let me say the first book was AWFUL. The first person passive it was written in was VERY hard to get past. However, the writing improved with each book. If I hadn’t watched the movie I probably wouldn’t have finished the series but boy am I glad I did. I want to say that that final battle was one of the best written of any book I’ve read yes even Harry Potter as blasphemous as that felt to write. I felt like I was legitimately watching a movie. Often with those final action scenes you think about how much better it would look live action and you wish you see it but with this book the action was so well done that you didn’t need a movie. An excellent series and an excellent book overall!

Very Good Ending To A Very Good Series
Ok, this is the end, except for finishing the last two Legacies. I wasn't sure where to read those in the series so read one & left the other two for later. This book is good. I got a little tired of John & his inner struggles. There was a little too much description but I suppose the author had to do something to fill out just one more book. I would like to know more about the lives of all the Garde "after". The year later ending was good for the most part, but could have done with less of the earlier descriptions & filled out the ending more. This is a really good series & even though it was written for young adults, it was good for an old adult also. You definitely need to read the series in order. I saw one review that complained about that, sounding like the reader started with this last one & couldn't finish it. I would like to find another series as good as this one.

Great read
I like all the I Am Number 4 Series. The book is well written, and worth reading (Start from book one, to get full effect). The story plays out well and the storyline does take the series to a satisfying end. It's got it all; a lot of action, some romance, plenty of drama, and even humor which is needed to give the reader a nice roller coaster ride during the story. I dont read a lot of books but I flew through the entire series as fast as they came out, I really enjoyed it. The book itself was an excellent read but again start from the I Am Number Four (Book 1) and read the entire story. It's worth it.

... as any normal series would but built to a great crescendo by the end of the first book
The series started off as any normal series would but built to a great crescendo by the end of the first book. I was not excited about the series just yet but kept reading hoping for the best.As the series progressed, I found that the characters were developed really well and that the underlying story was full of many surprises, twists, and turns. It is a very good series and provides something for just about everyone. I would highly recommend this series. The only drawback -- in my mind only -- is the way the story ended -- and the direction of some of the "legacies". I don't want to influence or spoil it for others so I will let readers decide.

A great finish to a great series
This is the last book in what can only be described as a great series. Iv loved the ride & journey gone on over the years reading about these exiled aliens from lorien with these amazing powers. Its sad when something comes to an end & i always hope that there might be more even short stories. This is by no means the best book in the series but then the last books never are & always have a slightly sad quality to them, but in my opinion this was a great ending to this riveting series & yes it does leave it somewhat open as to what the future has in store for them but its up to each individual to visualise the world they'll build & whats to come. Its a must read & a great finish i will mis this world & these great characters

An amazing journey full of characters you really start to care about.
I read the first two books years ago since after the movie I really wanted to find out more about Six. Then I forgot about the series for several years. When I got the urge to read more, I quickly devoured the books that had been written so far. Then I had to wait until this book came out, which I'm not used to doing. As soon as I started reading though, I felt I was among good friends and couldn't put it down since I was totally invested in their lives. This whole series has been an amazing journey and full of things that will stick with me for life. For instance, I found it fascinating to learn how all 9 cepans responded so differently to the same situation. And the one who was the "least prepared and trained" actually did the best job. Makes me want to do well with what I've been given! Another thing that will stick with me is how easy it is to get your thinking messed up. Although you know Five is on the wrong side, when you read his journey it makes so much sense that you totally see how he ended up working with the Mogs. At the end though, he realizes how duped he had been and what Setrakus Ra was really like, and I can't help but root for him to do well. I also love how John is a guy of good character qualities, one that you can't help but like. I think more books need people you can look up to! It's hard to watch him become a little hard, but totally understandable when you realize the loss he's grieving. You can't help but know he'll be ok in the long run after this is all over.

Saves the best for the last chapter!
This, of course, was MUST reading for all of us who read the (too many?) installments of this immensely successful and profitable series. By this time, the action scenes, regardless of how inventive, seem expected and a bit tiresome and even induce some skim reading. But that's THE greatest virtue of this series: it COMPELS those who invested in it to find out how it ends. And it's ending, while largely expected in result, DOES NOT DISAPPOINT, most notably in the meaningful lessons to be gleaned from it's concluding " One Year Later", epilogue - like chapter. I read this series fairly simultaneously with my 11 year- old grandson-- who brought it to my attention-- and joyfully exchanged thoughts with him when we got together. Thanks ,S and " Pittacus Lore" ( yes, we discussed "pen names" and " pseudonyms, too), for a wonderful experience. It was like reading James Patterson's Maximum Ride series on steroids. Which reminds me, S just might enjoy that great series, too! The joys of reading! The joys of a grandparent! J.

¡Excelente libro!
Igual de excelente que todos los libros que forman la serie; para los amantes de la ciencia ficción de jóvenes con poderes que empiezan a descubrir que tienen poderes y apenas los han descubierto y de repente se da cuenta que no es el único de su especie.

Glad they dedicated a book to the final fight
An amazing end to the series. I fell in love with this series at the movie so long ago and wish that those had continued because for me I pictured the actors I knew in their book roles. I feel like Setrakus may have had a few too many upgrades by the end, but Ximic was handled great and so was the Voroon. I think about reading Generation Zero but I'm not sure yet. I still miss Eight and Sarah. But Marina and John get a good ending. What is up with 5 surviving so much man? Also everybody give 9 a hand... I'm terrible.
