I'm something of a gadget geek, so my desk is always littered with a wide assortment of cabling. Looks like a snake pit in an Indiana Jones movie. The problem was always attempting to identify which cable fit which gadget. This little dispenser issues one label at a time. You write what you want on a space provided for that purpose, then wrap the label around one or if you wish both ends of the cable. As you wrap, the label you have written is covered and protected by the transparent end of each label. This assures it remains readable, protected, and will not flap in the breeze. I also have noticed a bit of welcome reinforcement at the attachment point where these small cables usually fail, so I'm getting an unadvertised benefit. I've gone through about half of the labels in this dispenser, and find it easier to plug the right cable into the right gadget these days. I'm so confident I've bundled the wiring, making my work surface much neater and easier to keep clean.Good product!
