Nice tool for your vehicle diagnosis arsenal
Features: 👍🏽👍🏽Ease of use: 👍🏽👍🏽Price: 👍🏽Nice tool that says what it does. Has plenty of features. I bought this for my 2014 BMW X5 (F15) and it worked like a charm to reset my SRS Airbag MIL on my cluster. It found the fault (plug was somehow loose behind the glove box), removed glove box and hooked the connection, read the code again, cleared the code, light is gone and still paid less than at the stealership.Live features work well too, tested it by connecting my seatbelt and it showed live when it was connected and when not.I also purchased the Toyota/Lexus/Scion firmware and it works well on my 2008 Lexus IS-F with no issues. Im not liking the $60 fee for each auto maker (sets). I’m glad I stumbled upon a video on Foxwell tools and after doing some research settled for this one.

Where's the missing items ?
What happened to the shipping box ? Product was thrown inside a Prime plastic parcel bag, without any protective cardboard or bubble wrap as a bare minimum. Purchase description clearly stated "Condition: New" ? Appears item has been previously shipped and quite possibly returned by another purchaser, and two items are missing - the USB cable and the micro-card reader ?

Works great.
Only issue I have is that this was bought for my work and my IT department has to physically enter the admin password to allow me to access the software in the computer when adding updating or adding new manufacturers. Not major, but make sure you are the admin/owner of your computer. They tried many times giving me permissions, but our systems weren’t happy with Foxwells requirements. Once I get a member of my company’s IT department to come to my desk and enter their password for access the software it performs perfectly. As a general use OBD scanner, I’m happy with it. I also have only used 3 other cheap scanners in the past so I don’t know exactly all the ins and outs at this time.I bought this with the loaded BMW software (also came with Mini and Rolls Royce). If I’m working on a RR, something amazing or terrible has happened. Anyways the BMW software was awesome for what I needed it to do which was to tell me trans temps. I also played around with opening the sunroof and other modules to see what all was possible. Very happy with my purchase!!

Works as expected but not out of box
I expected out of box ready to go product. However, I had to register online, download BMW package to configure the scanner in the configuration I expected (it is said NT530 for BMW). The whole process was very confusing in determining what's missing and how the installation works. Eventually figured out and the installation is simply putting the right software package onto the micro SD card included. The device appears to load them directly off the micro SD card on every use (slow). So 1 star off for it not being ready to go, another star off for the confusing instruction.

OK But
Seems OK for the cost however it does not do a lot of the functions that an "enthusiast" would want. Would not change battery type , cannot code modules or scan the climate control functions etc. Given my time again I would search for something better unless you are happy to just reset the service light.UPDATE- Dont have any issues with the scan tool as getting help from Foxwell is at best impossible
