Modoker Messenger Bag for Men, 13 Inches Laptop Satchel Bags, Canvas Shoulder Bag with Bottle Pocket

I'll start with why I bought this bag.I'm a first year college student that financially screwed themselves over the first semester and decided to go a more minnimalistic route for my second semester. A success, after spending my entire break working to save money for a surface 6. Only three of my classes didn't have an ebook, one I already have, one I'm able to borrow my friends, and one that is a bit bulky. I went mostly paperless, only having a three ring binder for handouts and some line paper for homework that has to be physically turned in. The only backpacks I had were big and bulky. Knowing me I would end up shoving papers in the bottom of my bag and stop becoming organized. So I found a small bag of mine that I got from some Alcatraz tour years ago, and it barely fit my binder and my laptop. I had to carry my textbooks and any other miscellaneous items I needed (I'm a girl, so those weeks of fun times were SO much fun). So hello Amazon, let's begin my search.I found a lot of interesting backpack and messenger bags and only 3 caught my eye. One had awful reviews saying it fell apart, the other was meant for 17 inch laptops, whereas mine is barely 13. Then there was this bag. It was cheap, decent reviews, the perfect size (based off the description and pictures). Why not?It came when I got home from my morning class, and I immediately switched over. It fit my laptop, binder, and my textbook for my next class with less effort than stuffing my two things in my other bag. I still had room for my charger, fun time items, earbuds, my wallet, an actual freaking pencil (it has these little pockets on the side for writing utensils and I LOVE them), and my wallet! It isn't able to fit my other class's bulky boxed book, but I don't mind much. The bag itself isn't too heavy, I wish it was a little but lighter and I wish there was padding for the shoulder, but other than those two things it feels like a really sturdy bag. I'll give it about a month or two to update my review, but as for right now I really do like it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a medium sized bag!2/23/19 UPDATE- Holding up beautifully. REALLY wish there was padding on the strap and I'm slowly beginning to wish that the mesh bag on the side was a bit stretchier so it could hold a travel mug. I'll figure out how to DIY a shoulder pad in the future.10/2/19 UPDATE- I'm genuinely surprised. Still good as new. I had made a discovery that the pencil holders on the side are open on both ends because I thought I forever got a pencil stuck in there until it fell out the bottom. Still my only complaint is lack of a shoulder pad! Other than that I'm still lugging my college supplies in this bad boy!4/6/22 UPDATE- I still have this bag. I don't go to school anymore but it lasted me this long and is still in working condition. One of the little leather zipper things tore, but I had used for for 2 years straight I don't blame it. Bumping my review to 5 stars because I didn't expect for it to last this long

Let me just say I was skeptical because of the reviews and no pictures. But this is by far the best bag I've ever owned. It seems small but super spacious with so many compartments front back and sides. The so called cup holder is small and will only fit a 17oz bottle it will fit tight as seen in the pictures but I don't plan on carrying drinks in it anyway. Comes in a nice quality plastic bag. And as for the fabric and quality it's superb and it just feels like a high quality material bag, smells like it too.

I have not owned the bag all that long however let me tell you the facts as I know them. The messenger bag came on time , actually it came a day early wrapped up well in plastic at in perfect condition. It looked exactly like the photo. I checked the seams and the zipper and the handle all which are super strong and absolutely intact. The color looks really good. Mine is black bag. The measurements are true to size and I like the idea that I can move the handle up to be more of a crossbody or shortness some to make it a messenger bag that goes over my shoulder. It's got a pretty good length to it because it works for both me and my husband and I am 5-2 and he is 5 11 and it works for us both. He definitely feels it more than I do so it will hold a nice size collapsible umbrella, pens on the side phone on the front, I have a 20 oz coffee mug in there and my husband is also often carrying things from my house to my uncle's house so let's just say that bag it's pretty stuffed before the night's over. I was able to leave the pocketbook behind and because of the size of this bag I can actually find everything and see everything inside the bag and it's working for the two of us. Now that I love it I'm definitely getting another one in the next few weeks for just me. This is a giftable bag. It definitely is a unisex bag but in no way does it look feminine if anything I think it just kind of looks academic, more like a school bag. I love the idea that it has the long flap closure because it's easier when on public transportation to make sure no one could access anything in the bag and it flattens it instead of having bulky outer pockets that stand away from your bag. Until further notice I would just like to say the bag is durable and I have been in a brief rainstorm and I found nothing wet in the bag but I did have an umbrella and I think I was mostly covered but if there was any rain on it it must be water resistant as they say because I did not see it get wet. It is as promised and it says nice balance between a back pad and a crossbody and it looks good for a cloth messenger bag which is a nice option for those of us who don't want to buy leather even if leather looks nicer my heart feels nicer buying a cloth bag as opposed to killing something show me and my husband can have a good back to carry from New York to New Jersey. Definitely a worthy purchase if anything changes I'll update this review. I don't usually write reviews but this is a really cool bag and we are really happy with it. Enough to say that if it's not durable we will update you but I can't see how it wouldn't be it's stitched really very well all over. Also I don't think me and my husband are that easy on this bag and it gets used a lot even in the brief time we've owned it so I would definitely consider buying this bag over those so many others I looked at on Amazon. There are larger bags if you need something for a laptop but this being 13.5 inches long as simply perfect because it has good depth and good width. So far so great, yay!

I use this bag everyday. It is perfect for my tablet, books, headphones and misc items and its size is very manageable.

Very well made, exactly what I was looking for! I am tired of carrying 3 different bags on the days I need my laptop. I can get my purse items and my office items in this so I only need this and my lunch. The cup holder could be bigger for my coffee, though. Once you get the laptop squeezed in there and a notebook or book, there is no actual room for a mug in that slot. But I still think it will serve my needs!

It's a bag. There is lots of space in it. There is no padding to protect your gadget, so be aware of that. I put my Surface Laptop and Surface Pro 6 with keyboard cover, plus charger and two mice in it with no problems. You need to remember there is no armor between your expensive toys and the outside world. So if you are the kind to toss your thousand dollar laptop on a table and count on the case to keep you from breaking it, this isn't your bag. On the other hand if you are reasonably careful of your investment and want a bag worth the money with lots of space for not much bulk, here you go. Highly recommended.

I'll start by admitting that I am a bag junkie. I like big ones and small ones, from tactical to tasteful. This bag is quite a find at this price point and compares with other bags of mine priced at double or triple as much. It comfortably carries my daily items including iPad pro 10.5" in a pouch with a few other accessories, XL Moleskine journal, pencil case, power adapters, cables etc in a pouch, multi tool, flashlight, pens, keys, phone, chap stick and more. Has room to spare for items I pick up along the way, or if I am carrying for my toddler as well. It holds a lot with a pretty small foot print and stands up on its own when filled evenly. Material is a nice heavy canvas in a natural colour. The shoulder strap is wide and comfortable as well as adjustable for shoulder or cross-body carry. I wouldn't recommend for any laptop/tablet larger than maybe 12.9" as the laptop pocket is just a little too narrow for that, although without a sleeve you could slip almost any modern 13" into it. Bigger devices may fit but in the main compartment. There are enough pockets to organize your items and several are quick access while wearing the bag. Overall just thrilled with it and hope to get many years of use out of it. Enjoy!

Love it. Holds a 13” MacBook Air 2019 no problem, if a bit snug. Lots of room and pockets and compartments. Note: the water bottle compartment is very narrow. I bought a pretty narrow steel bottle and it just fits with a little forcing.

Love this bag! For travel it carried all my medications, iPad and travel documents. Okay, it's not waterproof, but that doesn't bother me. Love all the secure compartments.
