CLICK Falcon Half Transparent Eye Dropper Filling Fountain Pen Red

I have been using fountain pens for 50 years now, and many great expensive pens to cheap crappy pens have come my way. There is not much to expect from $9.00 pen but there are times when you're pleasantly surprised. The Click Falcon is a pen that is not well finished and may not write well out of the box, but something about this pen felt right to me and with some minor work I made this ugly duckling a pen worth keeping and use every day. The pen came with a very scratchy nib which I found terrible though I like some feedback from my pens. With some minor nib grinding and smoothing the nib is perfect to me and writes wonderfully. As far as leaking I had no issues but if you get air bubbles trapped within the barrel you might get a burp of ink. This is normal and should stop once the air is gone. The warmth of your hands can also play part in burping issues. If you are writing for long periods of time the air in the barrel will warm up and expand just ever so slightly to cause an ink burp at times. Overall, I find this pen enjoyable to use and very comfortable in my hands. This may not be a great pen for the average user but with some minor tweaks you can get it to work perfectly as I did.
