Sheer oil
I seriously love, love, love this brand's dual moist toning lotion so I thought I'd give the fluid oil a try. I've recently been struggling to repair my skin barrier which has been compromised by using lotions for dry skin (that lacks oil) rather than treatments for dehydrated skin (that lacks moisture). I've been using oils nightly as an occlusive layer to lock in moisture. Of the squalane-based oils I've tried (Lord Jones, Biossance) this one is relatively sheer and is absorbed quickly. Others sit on my skin. Although I bought this for my face, I love putting it on my hands -- no more "crepey" hands! My boyfriend has been commenting recently how baby soft they are.I thought I'd note, too, that the bottle doesn't come filled up to the top on purpose. Per the images, bottles aren't filled to the top to prevent the oil from overflowing in freezing temperatures.

Emollient velvety facial oil
This is by far my favorite squalane oil for my skin type. I have combination to dry skin so it needs a rather rich oil. Olivarrier’s oil applies on very smoothly and feels velvety. Other squalane oils I’ve tried are: Peter Thomas Roth, Indie Lee, Timeless, and The Ordinary (ranked from “driest” and thinnest feeling oil to the most emollient and richest). While I do like Indie Lee very much - silky and absorbs quickly - I’ve had to return their products lately due to the oil’s strong rubbery odor. The Ordinary is the oiliest of all the squalanes I’ve tried but it removes makeup well so I like to use it as an oil cleanse. Olivarrier’s oil falls between Timeless and The Ordinary. Though it’s on the more emollient end of the spectrum, it feels great and doesn’t clog my pores like coconut or marula oil ocassionally does. Only small downfall is that it has an oh-so-slight rubber scent that is probably not noticeable to most people. But for me, the benefits of the oil thoroughly outweighs the downfall.

Breakouts
Thin, nearly odorless oil that absorbs like a dream and moisturizer well. The price is great compared to some other brands. However, this broke me out in deep cystic pimples within two weeks. Do not use if you have acne prone skin sensitive to olive oil. My typical acne is hard surface blackheads and comedones, not deep cysts. I had the same type of breakout when I tried oil cleansing with olive oil some time ago, which is why I think there's an olive connection. Also, came without a shrink seal band. Use with caution.

Ok
This absorbed ok but was not enough to moisturize my skin. I purchased this because I have sensitive, acne-prone, mature skin. I also read this was helpful for fungal acne-which is what I believe I have. This may work better for normal or slightly sensitive skin types, but you may still need to layer something with it if moisture is what you desire.

My skin has never felt better
This oil is best I have ever tried! It is lightweight and absorbs into the skin nicely. I layer this with all the other products in the line. My skin has never felt better.

Questionable Purchase
I received my bottle and was disappointed to see that it was not all the way full; there was fluid missing. The bottle was also not sealed. I am not sure if this was used/returned. Questionable purchase.
