So far so good. I didn't have as much luck with my prior purchase which lasted for only three months. Will continue to monitor this and edit my review if necessary. I must say that the original toshiba battery lasted approximately 6 months. I replaced it with another original toshiba battery and that lasted for 3 months. This is a no name brand. Go figure.

I was a bit skeptical about buying a none OEM battery for my Toshiba as I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for. In this case I am glad i took a chance, much much cheaper than the Toshiba battery and no problem at all keeping a charge. My old Toshiba battery which was about 2 years old would not hold a charge off battery power for longer than 30 mins, then not at all with a message saying my battery needed to be replaced.The powerSmart battery slipped right in and once fully charged would last about 3 hours and that was with full power, illuminated keyboard and stuff running in the background.Do yourself a favor, save a bunch of money and buy this battery cell.

The battery worked for about two or three months then it went dead. A wasted purchase and I'm very disapointed.
