Seems solid, may not be quite powerful enough to run a car vac but should be good enough for most else.
This works as advertised and seems solidly built. I'm happy with it overall. However, I bought it to power a car-vac from the same manufacturer and it seems just barely adequate (the vac will "wheeze" for a while before finally getting up to speed and doing its job).I know that a vac is a high-current appliance, and it does (eventually, and without hugely impressive power) work, so, I can accept this limitation.For anything with less current draw than a car vac, I'd be willing to bet that this inverter would be more than adequate. It seems well made overall, I just can't give it full marks because it's not the best fit for the job for which I personally bought it.
