It just gets stuck to a wall every 10 seconds. So it's like every other wind up toy out there . Will most likely return it.

Came without instructions. Gets stuck amongst wires and air vents. Make sure your floors are free of dust balls. When it runs into one, hair and dust gets tangled in its tires and can slow it down or even stop it. Toy will also fall down stairs if nothing is blocking them. I wish it stayed on longer than 2 mins before going into sleep mode. I have 4 cats. They're all curious, but just watching it - some longer than others. None have interacted w it, so every 2 mins, I've had to get it moving again. On the outside of the box it says to tap it anywhere to get it moving again. I had to tap it pretty hard, but discoverrd it will also wake up if pushed slightly. However, none of the cats have shown an interest in it.

The kitten played with this for a while and then the wheels caught in the fur on her tail and it TERRIFIED her and us and we had to chase her and subdue her and pull, and cut the snake out of her tail. This should NOT be a toy for any animal with fur. It was pure torture for an 8 month old kitten AND her owner. If I could leave a minus rating, I would. Leaving a one star review does not do justice to the trauma to my kitten and to me.

This whole thing was worth the initial $10 for the first 10 minutes we spent on spoiling our furry special Lady with something new until it wasn't. First off, the wheels clog-up very quickly and you will waste more time on disassembling this product with micro tools for maintenance and for far longer time than the battery runs it. More importantly, if a long-haired cat keeps "catting" it the result will be the turning wheels catching into it's fur and then you'll see the cat panicking at Mach 3 thru the house.

My two cats loved it but it only lasted a week. It no longer holds a charge. Pet hair builds up around the wheels and I was hoping that was the problem and cleaned all the hair out but no, it’s just dead and I see no way to replace a battery. The tiny screwdriver just seems to be to give you additional access in the head to remove the hair from the wheels. Before it dies it slows down, that’s how you’ll know the end is near. Pretty expensive for a week.

My cat loves to play with this snake. Knows how to activate it when it stops moving. It is fun to see the snake recoil from objects. I only wish it had slightly bigger wheels so it doesn’t become high-centered when floor meets carpet, for instance. It also would move better over carpets. Other than that, it is is a great toy to have around.
