Tricky to use, but worth it for it's unique properties
Overall this stuff is great for what it's meant for. The picture is a face up i did using this stuff, with soft pastels, watercolor pencils, acrylic paint, and gloss varnish to make the eyes shiny. This is a UV protective sealant designed with doll and toy customizers and faceup artists in mind. This is not your normal spray on acrylic clear coat. Do not buy it for that purpose. This spray provides a truly amazing "paper like" texture to the doll or whatever you spray it on, allowing you to use items like soft pastels and watercolor pencils on slippery surfaces like plastic. Do NOT use oil based mediums like normal colored pencils, oil pastels, or oil paints with this sealant; it will cause a chemical reaction that will leave your project gross and sticky. One thing to keep in mind is that this sealant creates delicate, thin layers, that will prevent layers of color underneath it from pulling up, but it is not "chip-proof", so it is not optimal for sealing in acrylic paint on modified doll bodies or other projects. Using this sealant properly has a learning curve and takes some getting used to. Here's how to use this stuff for doll faceups: Step 1. wait for a cool, dry day. Mr. Super Clear works best in cool but not cold temperatures with low humidity. You may be able to get past this by storing the can indoors, spraying your project outside, then letting it dry in an area like a garage, but results can vary. This is what i do and it usually works out for me. Step 2. Get a respirator, gloves, and whatever youre going to be spraying. ALWAYS wear at least a respirator when using Mr. Super Clear, and spray it outside, as it is highly toxic when inhaled. If you're spraying a doll with hair already rooted, mask off the hair by wrapping the hairline in scrap fabric and securing the fabric in place with pins placed behind the hairline, so that you cant see the holes the pins poke. Hopefully the pictures will help you understand what i mean. Step 3. Use two to three light sprays, about a foot away on the doll. The dolls face should be ever so slightly shiny but should not be soaked. Applying too much at once can cause a "water droplet" pattern on the face or smudge colors underneath, and can even cause the sealant to function improperly. Step 4. Wait 30 minutes for the spray to dry. You may need to layer coats multiple times to get the desired amount of texture. If you're a beginner, i would recommend 2 initial coats to on the dolls face to start. Step 5. Throughout the repainting process, apply a new layer of sealant once the colors of your watercolor pencils and pastels dont seem to build up as nicely, or, if you want to "save" your progress. Step 6. Apply 2-3 coats of sealant to finish the face. If you're having trouble getting the paper-like texture then you may be using the sealant incorrectly. Try another layer in more optimal weather conditions, or using a thinner coat may help. This sealant is tricky to use, but it's unique characteristics make it worth it for doll repainters like me. If you're curious about doll customizing i highly recommend you look into the hobby as it is incredibly fun and satisfying to transform dolls into adorable characters.

Excellent Craft Primer and Sealant
The media could not be loaded. In using this as a primer it allowed me to easily draw and paint fine details on the face of my custom doll piece with watercolor pencils. I’m a novice, so please don’t crit my photos too harshly. It’s also a great sealant for air dry crafting clay. After allowing the clay to fully dry, I sprayed it with Mr. Super Clear, and instead of being delicately brittle the clay on the doll’s tail is like semi-flexible plastic. Feels like it too. Almost forgot to mention, there’s been no yellowing either. I’m still working on the head so I haven’t sprayed it yet.I highly recommend this product. WARNING! It is highly carcenigenic! Should not be used without proper mask and filter protection. Should not be used by children without direct adult supervision and aforementioned gear. This is not a casual hobby product. Use responsibly and with care. It is an excellent product though, and I am very pleased with the results.

Good product
I do not recommend Amazon Prime, they almost never deliver items the next day, they take the same or worse than usual.

Wonderful Sealant - Pricey - Great for OOAK Dolls
This is only the second time I’ve purchased this item, it will definitely not be my last. I’m using it to seal customized dolls and it does great for my purposes. As much as I love this spray the only thing that I have to complain about is the price. Each time I have purchased it it’s been over $20. It’s a very small can, although for its size it can do quite a bit. I’ve included a photo of it next to a 3-wick Bath & Body Works candle for your size reference. My first can I twice coded seven doll heads and six doll bodies, and there was still more in the can. I think I started too many at once so I needed the second can to continue mid body work on three of the dolls. It creates a flat, smooth and evenly applied coating over the doll body and faces. It provides just enough texture for the watercolor pencils and chalk that I use to have something to hold onto, a little bit of a tooth I suppose you could say. It feels smooth to the touch. The can itself is in Japanese but on each can I’ve received there was a label written in English. I have attached a photo with the label for you to see.

Great Product, Horrible Price
Clearly the product is great for dolls making and all, however it is incredibly small for the price. I personally won't be buying it again like this. I'll have to look for other sites that sell MSC either by bulk or just cheaper. Paying this much for such a small bottle is ridiculous.Just for reference, I've placed my deodorant next to it just so you can see how small it is.
