Great little knife. Mostly pros...a few cons. A good, inexpensive knife/sheath package ($20 incl tax). The double-edge, full-tang blade seems sturdy. It could’ve been sharper from the factory, but I can put a shave-worthy edge on it. The rubber handle completely encloses the metal and allows a good grip. I bought this knife to hang on a backpack shoulder strap. I'm thinking...additional things now. The well-thought out, hard nylon-fiberglass “no strap” sheath is a surprising contraption. The knife blade fits snugly inside the sheath with little or no rattle. I actually returned a competing brand knife because it was so noisy bouncing around in the plastic liner. The knife self-locks in the sheath as a result of the left and right outer points of the knife’s rubber guard snapping into little pockets inside the sheath (see photo). Slide the blade into the internal slot. When you meet pressure...push and the knife snaps into place. I have no fear of it slipping out because of its firm grasp on the rubber hand guard. Also, while the inclination will be to “pull” the knife out of the sheath in the normal fashion, the best way to release the knife is to simply grab the handle, place a thumb on the top of the sheath and push. The knife pops right out. Depending on your mounting method, pulling the knife could pull the sheath along with the knife. The sheath hold is that good. The slide-on belt clip is exceedingly sturdy and set up for a 1.5” belt. When on the belt, the sheath sits high and snug...sort of like a pancake pistol holster. One trick that I discovered...you can remove the belt clip if you work it the right way. It’ll slide right out of the little pocket on the back of the sheath (see photo). If wearing the sheath/knife on the provided neck chain, removing the clip gives a lower print through a shirt. The cons? The double edge grinding was uneven. There’s an eighth inch length difference from one side of the blade, to the other. The sharp edge grinding could also have been carried further down the blade shaft...before even getting into the ricasso (the unsharpened area just above the handle guard. That being said, I’ll have my knife sharpening rig out shortly to extend the beveled edge...and to put a scalpel-like sharpness to it. All in all, I’m tickled with this knife. I’m even buying the black-bladed, single-edge version of this model...and will be putting a second edge to it! At $20...you can hardly go wrong.

Great bootknife, locks in sheath tight, almost too tight.Clips on boot fairly secure as well. Rides in the boot comfortably, so much so in fact sometimes you have to check if its still there.

Blade is small enough that it is consider legal to carry concealed in almost all states. The sheath is nice because it has a click lock to let you know it's IN/OUT. It also comes with a neck chain that is fairly durable. Pulling on the knife when its on the chain around your neck does feel just a little like it will break if you aren't careful but that has yet to happen. I've used this for everything from camping to flatting tires (j/k). I've use it to open cans, skin a rabbit, as a prybar and it has yet to break or knick on me. It's a double sided edge so be careful people! The grip is VERY non-slip but also feels small in your hand. But it is a small knife so duh... If you want an inexpensive knife to conceal or just keep in your car or camping gear. This is it!
