Beautiful and well made parasol. Love it!
This is exactly what I was hoping for! It's lovely and the materials are very high quality. The handle is solid wood and the canopy is a nice woven fabric. The design appears to be printed on the underside, but it looks very soft. Very nice. The little tips at the ends of the ribs are also wooden - another nice touch. I thought I might feel silly carrying an "umbrella" around in the sun, but I really don't. The natural materials, light colors and more flat canopy make it more obvious that it's a parasol for use with the sun. The mechanics are very fluid and feel sturdy. It's easy to raise and lower. It is smaller than a "normal" umbrella but that is a good thing to me. It's lightweight and just enough coverage to protect head and shoulders provided I adjust the angle toward the sun. It's easy to maneuver within a crowd or down a sidewalk. So thrilled with my purchase!

I bought this for my fiancee, who is extremely sensitive to sunlight, so the rest of this review is from her;On first opening it, it looks slightly smaller than I was expecting, but it is exactly the dimensions listed. Despite that, it is actually very well sized, just enough to block sunlight over the head and shoulders, and perfect to not be disruptive in a crowded area. It won't really block the light from your arms, but most parasols don't anyways unless they're massive, so long sleeves/gloves/arm warmers would be good if you're concerned about the sun on your arms. This parasol is absolutely beautiful, the design and blue color are perfect. The carrying case is convenient. It feels more sturdy than most parasols I've bought, though I wouldn't throw it in a book bag with text books.

Perfect for Florida!!
Great Find!! I have skin cancer and I Must keep my face out of the sun; living in Florida....this is impossible. Now with my New Sun Umbrella I can go in and out of stores etc without having to put a ton of sunscreen on my face. Simply open my Sunbrella and I'm covered. Print is beautiful, easy to open/close, light as a feather and comes w/case and strap to hold onto inside. I highly recommend this!

I get a lot of compliments when I walk down ...
I get a lot of compliments when I walk down a sunny street. The umbrellas shades my face, neck and shoulders. It is not big and cumbersome. Since I am petite it works all for me.
