Works well. Very sharp. As the British would say, "A fine piece of kit!" I would recommend this. American made.

Not worth the money at all I’m a professional farrier and I know what a sharp rasp is ( this one isn’t) I urge the company to prove me wrong and I’ll rewrite my comment if they prove otherwise

EXCELLENT rasp for the money. This is a proper, real deal rasp. Absolutely blows the Nicholson Farrier Rasp File away. Maybe I got a bad one, but brand new it was dull like a heavily used old rasp. The Nicholson also has that ridiculous built in uncomfortable handle. This MaXcut is as sharp as a rasp/file can get out of the box. I'll update this review as to it's longevity. I strongly recommend pairing this up with a Equithotics Plastic Rasp Handle. You'll probably have better luck finding them somewhere than Amazon (Amazon, you're dropping the ball on this one) I wish there was a 17" version of this rasp. Draft hooves are big.

Not at all the quality I expected. Takes much more effort to use than the Bellota or Save Edge I am accustomed to. Not worth the price at all. I appreciate that it's made in the US, but we've got to catch up to the Italians and Swedes in this area.

It came sharp and fairly quickly! Works well on my horses hooves.
