Patio umbrella support
I read the reviews and I decided to get this and I’m glad I did. It helped my umbrellas to stay in place and I love the extra screws that came with it.

Helps stabilize the umbrella - after some modifications
I ordered this bundle of replacement parts for two reasons... 1) to replace the "hole base" that came with my stand with something hopefully more snug and 2) use the "slanted mouth sleeve" to center the umbrella pole in the middle of the stand (rather than having it flop around). Why these stands don't come with parts like this is beyond me.At 2.2" I knew that the "mouth sleeve" would be too large for my roughly 2.1" stand before I ordered, but I was hoping that because it was slanted, I'd be able to cut it down to fit. I removed the widest part (about 1/4") using a fine tooth wood saw and it slid snugly down inside. The pole sits nicely in the middle of the stand now.As for the replacement "hole base" pieces.. the dimensions posted are not accurate. The largest piece is also about 2.2" at the widest point, not 2" as shown. Or more accurately, the bottom is roughly 2" and it slopes up to 2.2", since I could get it about halfway in without modifications. Regardless, the dimensions given do not accurately describe the parts. Fortunately, I was able to use a utility knife to trim back the plastic "ribs" until the part fit snugly inside the top of the stand.I then did one more thing, since the package comes with two sets of "hole bases". I cut the top "caps" off of the other set of larger and middle pieces so that they could slide down into the stand. I pushed them about halfway down the base. All this took about an hour of experimentation, and I ended up two relatively snug holes at the top and in the middle of the stand, plus the "mouth sleeve" at the bottom. so it does still move a little bit. The result is my 6'x10' rectangular umbrella only moves around "a little bit", only because the pole is slightly smaller than 1.5" and there's still some play. Even so, it's a vast improvement from what I had before.Overall I'm happy with the result, but I did have to work for it a bit. I knocked one star for the inaccurate dimensions/descriptions in the photos and the modifications required.

Did not work as advertised
From the photo, it appears that the rings should be able to shim a smaller diameter pole onto a larger diameter base, but not the case.

Selection of screws were invaluable
Although I tried to use the rubber gaskets, didn’t work. However, I used the longer screws supplied to replace the existing and it worked great!

Directions are confusing
This product was good quality and did exactly what I needed it to do, it's just weird with directions, makes it much more complicated than it needs to be.
