A lot of VALUE for the MONEY!
With this mixer you definitely get your monies worth! There's a lot of value packed in this mixer, I'm no pro by any means, but I've always been into music, and now with this mixer I can edit my own music. The buttons, knobs, and dials are all very good quality, and feel very responsive. The mixer is practically silent. The option to use Bluetooth is a game changer, and a very useful feature to have. Being there's 12 channels give the options of mic inputs for many different instruments. The build quality seems very nice, and it has a good weight to it. It would have been really nice to have a list or description of all the effects, there's 99 total. Overall, I'm very happy with it, and feel like it's a great deal for the price. Highly recommend!

Not quite state-of-the-art for a pro but good enough for the amateur sound man
Just as my son was set to tape a family recording for his grandfather's birthday, his mixer went out. I found the EMB MX12BT 99 DSP 12-Channel Audio Mixer within ten minutes of our conversation and checked with him if this was the sort of technology he needed. (I had no clue!) I ordered it and it came faster than my professional soundman son could have gotten something through his sources. Time was a factor so we used the mixer to record the whole family singing for Grandpa's 80th birthday. The recording sounded fine to me. My son wasn't satisfied, naturally, but in the end, we all felt we had done a good job and Grandpa loved his gift. When I asked my son for his critique of the board, he admitted that for something so simple—as compared to what he normally uses—the equipment performed fairly well. His main criticism was that the terms used in the directions were out of date by ten or fifteen years, using terms that are no longer used and obsolete component names that were not in the mixer console. He recommends a major rewrite of the manual. He said that he won't use it for major shows, but will take it along for practices with his own band. When I asked him what sort of recommendation he would give, he said it was a piece of equipment a young performer or a wannabe soundman could use to get himself started. Once he knew if he wanted to go big—that is, spend big money—he could move on to more sophisticated equipment. That is my advice too as a mom whose teenage son prowled pawn shops for used equipment of all sorts. This piece I can guarantee comes to you far cleaner than some of the dusty and buggy guitars, speakers, and boards my son dragged home.

Fixed a stressful opening night.
We were doing audio for our school’s musical a few days before the opening night. The day before, we did a sound check again and none of the microphones were working. We had to order a 1-day shipping on Amazon for this and on opening nights we got our results. It effectively connected to all the Bluetooth microphones we had set up.It was easy to manage everything from volume to muting, everything was responsive. This system saved our opening night. Hope this review helps.

Lack Of Comprehensive Documentation / Operation a Bit Confusing
This truly is a pretty decent little mixer. It definitely has some peculiar things about it. The first thing is that on the back of the mixer is the description for the digital effects. It’s like you really want to flip the mixer over every time you want to find a range of effects. The other thing is that on the back it gives the input voltage at 5 volts but the power transformer they supply is 9 volts. The mixer has a USB A 1.0 connector and all other mixers that I have ever used are USB 2.0. If you connect the mixer to a laptop with the included USB cable and turn off the power switch on the mixer, the mixer stays on but none of the controls will work. All my other mixers have phantom power on the first 2 inputs but this mixer has phantom power on all 8 inputs. Once you switch off the phantom power, there is a delay before the power drains from the inputs. The signal quality and the clarity of the signal are all good and some of the digital effects sound good, but to be honest, I rarely utilize digital effects other than reverb. The Bluetooth pairs up without any issues and the gain is controlled by using the channel 11 and 12 volume control. Over all volume at the outputs is a little weak. Using the mixer with recording software you have to use it in just standard wave mode. The mixer does not have an ASIO driver. There is also so no panning control so you can’t move things left to right in the stereo channel. Despite some of its non-conventional ways this mixer still gets the job done. If you have some experience with mixers, then you should be just fine. If this this is your first time using a mixer, the included directions are not very helpful.

Great for the price
I have used this at a couple parties and I am happy with it's capabilities. This would be great for a starter home studio. This is not a professional mixer but for the price it is very good. Have fun.

Not bad
Not the greatest. It does have a sort of phantom power but it's an interface. And for an entry level audio analog mixer it's not too bad. But it has its flaws. And those flaws are pretty bad for anyone that would rely on this as a primary mixer. Its phantom power is about 20w I would guess. Not enough to punch a condensed mic. And it's latency is big. So if you're recording guitar understand you will probably have to double track it. This would be a great little toss away drum mixer though.

Small but Great
I ordered this mixer to use in our youth church retreat and it really performed very well, The sound output is clean in both the vocal and instrument levels. Although the mixer is small I am very pleased with the set of features and controls it offers per channel or even on the master level. I highly recommend this mixer for small gigs or events or even home studios
