inexpensive collapseable warning cones
A friend brought some collapsable traffic cones to a recent event and set them up around the solar panels I' set up. "I need to get some of those" I thought, to keep the public from stumbling into my gear. HIs set was probably a pretty high end one, but I just want something that gets the job done, and these are perfect for me. I was worried about the quality of the reflective strips, but despite looking drab, they're highly reflective. I wish they had been available in yellow, as orange seems to be less noticeable with everyone using orange everywhere. I did see yellow, but they were a lot more expensive for some reason. The inner support rings are a pretty thin plastic, and the fabric looks pretty thin too, so I worry a little about their durability, but they won't be getting used very often or staying exposed to UV for long periods, so I hope they'll still last me a long time. I'm expecting them to be an okay value for the price. The bases are a thick rubber that has a fair amount of weight to it, although as with any cone I'd expect wind could toss them around. I don't see any good way of preventing that - maybe planting a tent stake might help?I read a few reviews about problems with manufacturing quality, but the set I got appears to be in perfect condition. This set of four does store very compactly, which is handy for like your trunk, but they don't come with any sort of carrying case. I just keep mine in the cardboard box they shipped in. (it's an okay double-walled cardboard)

Easy to store and very visible in daylight and at night.
Well made and sturdy with a very bright orange and reflective at night when light hits them. They stayed upright even when wind hit them. They can be a little tricky to collapse but if you push straight down on the top with one hand and use your other hand to push in the sides with your finger when it gets off center it goes well.

So far so good...
I specifically use these cones for my RV/Trailer. Whether it's used on the street when I'm washing it or using it to ensure visibility and safety at my campsite. I have not used these in an emergency situation, but I imagine it will stand up just fine.I've used these primarily in sunny weather and not wet weather yet. They are very visible and will hold up in the wind. Opening/closing these are simple/easy. The build quality seems "good" and will work as expected. That being said, I do worry about the durability over a long period of time due to the materials, but it's expected for a compact product. Speaking of portability, you simply can't beat this form factor. I bought these purposely for it's compact/portability as I was going to use these in my RV/Trailer. For this reason, they're perfect.Overall, I would recommend this product for its value and form factory.

Perfect for my needs as instructor
I needed to create the set up that exists at the Roadtest site for Parallel Parking. I needed three cones in the back. These are collapsible and do not take up room like the hard plastic cones. I paired them with expandable white curtain rods that fit into the top of the cones.

Needs to be taller
These were bought to be used as guides into a back in camper spot. It would be easier if they were taller.
