This has been an excellent safe for the price. We removed the shelf and use it for medication storage. I was able to fit all of the pills we use (prescription and OTC) as a family of 4. We access it at least 3 times a day. My only complaint is that the fingerprint reader is a bit finicky. It’s not like an iPhone that requires you to scan tips and sides of your finger. This is a one-shot read, and if you don’t line your finger up in the exact same way each time, it won’t release. Overall this was a more economical, sturdy solution than I imagined I’d find. Happy with the purchase.

This is a great little safe! To be clear if not bolted to the wall, nothing prevents a thief from walking off with it. It is not fireproof or break-in proof.With that, it sits on shelf in my closet and holds some values and my firearms. I specifically bought it to keep my firearms locked up and out of reach of my son. For that, it is great!The fingerprint reader is good and works as designed! Admittedly, you have to hit it just right with relatively dry hands for it to work. The fact you can program up to 30 prints is great, use it for me and my wife.We also use a key code as a backup to gain access. Setting up the fingerprints and code was very simple. There is even a little alarm you can set if some rocks the safe and deactivates with code or print.One downside is every time you press a button or use the print reader, it beeps. It is not overly loud, but loud enough if you want to access it in the middle of the night because of a suspected intruder, depending on the size of your house and location of safe, may be heard opening.One thing not mentioned in the instructions. The safe dial/keypad will not work if the batteries die (that is mentioned). The only way to access it of that happens is the emergency back up key (don't lose) or (this is what is not mentioned) the safe does come with a battery back up kit. The kit plugs into the safe keypad and powers it up so you can use the keypad and/or print reader to get the safe open. Once opened, you can replace the batteries.All in all, at this price point and my needs, this is perfect. Not too big, small, or overly complicated. As long as your not looking for something that is theft proof, this is great.

I like that it can read my finger print and that I don't have to put a coad in to open it up. It's vary durable and I was able to bolt it ti the wall easily.

Great easy to use safe - make sure you have something heavy in or secure it before opening the door - it will tip over if the base is light. Easy to use !!!!

Bought this to keep in our closet! Perfect size and fit for my closet. Works great for keeping my things safe and put away!

Update: I have upgraded the rating. It turns out this safedoes have an undocumented emergency battery system you can use to open the safe if the battery dies and you loose the keys. Its the white box and it plugs into the little hole at the bottom of the dial. Neeto! Totally undocumented though.Interior is beautiful.Still a star off for lying about the floor mount though and tnhe manual is horrible."You can fix the TENAMIC safe on the floor or on the wall. It can be well matched with all kind of home or office environment."Lies !There are NO mounting hole on the bottom. STUPID forma safe!The manualo is useless. Does not,even explain battery installation.No emergency battery system.Its pretty inside but returning.

This is a great safe that employs both biometric and combination access with an emergency external power source in the event the batteries fail. Also, a manual key for entry with electronics fail. Finally, it has an interior light, which makes it great.The only downside would be the rather flimsy shelf that's in the middle, but that can be overlooked.
