I'm all about protein shots, but these don't taste good at all. It's like making mud with protein powder and putting it in a tube.

Pretty good.
I put these in the fridge and wasn't sure what to expect. I thought they'd be more like a pudding texture. They're actually thicker, more like peanut butter, and with a slight grit. Still, I like them a lot. For only 14g of protein, they really do fill you up right good. So, the cost is appropriate in my opinion. This replaces a meal or snacking session. And actually tastes good too. Even with the slight grit, I still like them a lot and I hate gritty protein products. These don't have an much protein as my protein shakes and powders, but they do have the 14g for an added boost later in the day after I've had my late morning shake. They're a perfect snack when you want something healthier and want to end the hunger pains. The chocolate peanut butter flavor is very good, too.My only minor complaint is with having to try and squeeze all the product out, but part of that could be the fact that I put them in the fridge so it stiffens them up a little. Regardless, I'd prefer this thicker texture than something that is more runny.I will buy these again for sure.

Great protein snack for picky eaters!
I actually got these for my son. He's an extremely picky eater and it's a struggle when we travel to get enough calories in him. He loves peanut butter, however and chocolate. He actually really liked these! Great way for me to get protein and calories in his system when he doesn't want to eat and super convenient to travel with. Easy for him to eat mess free in the car seat, as well. I love that it has super simple ingredients, so I feel good about this snack.

I find it tasty
Taste is very subjective to each person but personally I found these quite good. They are very thick like a peanut butter but a little gritty like sugar. Also has some of that chocolate sort of taste to it. Overall I like them. They claim to have 14 g of protein in each pack. They are very thick so a little harder to squeeze out. Very easy to take with you when you need the extra protein boost on the go. I suggest having something to drink along with it. Overall probably not a product I would use all the time but I am enjoying them. I like them. I think this would also work as a spread for apples. Recommend.

Why Does This Taste Bad?
How do you take a tasty ingredient like peanut butter, and make it taste bad? These protein bars and pouch manufacturers sure are good at doing just that... and I'm so confused by it.Looking at the ingredients list, I can't figure it out. The peanut butter flavor is there, but it's so obscured by... something. Egg whites are the only odd thing here, but what I taste is a mild sludge that is somewhat peanut, definitely chocolaty, but has an odd sourness. I felt a bit sick eating it too - I don't think the pouches are spoiled, it just tastes like this.I also couldn't get an answer as to whether the egg whites are cooked, or raw. This is important nutritional information that the seller would not answer.Instead, I highly recommend buying refillable pouches, and just putting peanut butter in there, maybe adding some collagen or other tasteless protein. It'll be cheaper, tastier, and you can control the contents better.I ordered these May 2022, and the pouch is marked best by March 2024, so an expiration of 22 months from order. The packaging says it's manufactured FOR a company in the USA, but country of origin is not indicated.

Convenient, thick and pasty, but not so tasty!
I really wanted to like these nutritional pouches because I love how this product is packaged. It’s portable, shelf-stable, easy to open, and to close but it simply isn’t palatable for me. I have very forgiving taste buds and enjoy lots of foods and supplements that tend to be unpopular by others but I could not get past the paste or the taste. I was overwhelmed and unprepared for the thick sludge-like consistency. This product is so thick that it triggered my gag reflex and it seemed no amount of water helped wash it down. While there are hints of peanut butter and chocolate flavors but they get smothered in the denseness of this product. I forced two pouches down on different days in hopes that the flavor would grow on me. Sadly, this was an epic fail in the flavor and density categories.I used to cycle on a road bike many years ago and I remember looking for portable energy supplements I could pack for the long rides, withstand the warm weather, and still be easy enough to access and eat while riding. This would have been perfect for that on the go energy needed for those 25-30 mile rides or intense workouts. Another great benefit if you can stand the taste and consistency is that this product worked wonderfully at suppressing my appetite. This product may appear a bit pricey but it may be well worth it for individuals that work out intensely or need a meal replacement. Especially since this product does not need to be refrigerated. It is also worth mentioning that it is gluten free and considered dairy free. The cost per pouch averages out to $3.20 each and its not expensive when compared to alternative protein bars on the market. I think this is a novel idea and it has its place in the market but I would have enjoyed it better if the taste was improved and consistency was more fluid.
