This powder makes really good protein shakes! Though it doesnât have as much protein as some other brands, I appreciate that it doesnât have fake sugar or a bad after taste. Personally, I like it more chocolatey, so I add an extra 10g of cocoa powder per serving plus some chocolate chips and blend it up with milk. Still a touch chalky, but you donât notice after the first sip. Just tastes like a very rich cup of chocolate milk, but has very little sugar and more nutrition.

really gross tasting! its chalky and weird and not really a chocolate flavor at all but with that being said its the only protein powder i can find that is stevia (or monk fruit or whatever artificial or natural sweetener) free and i love it because of that! also it really keeps me full the mornings im too busy for a mid morning snack i mix it with oat milk and itâs tolerable enough to get down but i mean its protein powder so you cant expect much flavor wise, probably would be better in a smoothie or something with multiple ingredients ill keep buying it though for the fact its made with natural cane sugar

The good: no stevia, monkfruit, or other artificial sweeteners. It mixed in easily into water - I even tried stirring with a spoon or shaking it in a travel mug instead of a shaker bottle and it worked great. The not-so-good: to me this had a distinct note of coffee. Maybe that's just me, or maybe there is something in the ambiguous natural flavors ingredients, but when I buy a dark chocolate protein powder I expect it to taste primarily like dark chocolate. If you like chocolate and coffee, this might be great for you. Also, when making it with water as per the instructions, it doesn't feel or taste like protein shakes (even plant-based protein shakes) usually do. It honestly tasted kind of weak, which might not be a problem if you're mixing into something else but I'm looking for something I can mix in water without feeling like it's thin and underwhelming. The bad: I measured how many servings I got, and it wasn't anywhere close to 10. It was 8ish. (The last scoop was a bit skimpy.) I have not had similar problems with other protein powders' approximate servings, so I don't think I'm scooping an unusually high amount. I actually was intentionally not filling the scoops up all the way to the top and yet still fell well short of what they claim you're going to get. Because people tend to price protein powders based on the number of servings, I find it really concerning that they have exaggerated their serving numbers to this extent. This is even worse in light of its watery texture, which may make many people want to add more protein to get something more drinkable. When assessing this product against similar ones on the market, make sure you are using a realistic number of servings, not the inflated ones that they have put on the container. It isn't as good of value for your money as it appears if you're looking at the nutrition label.
