I loved the three parrots for the logo on the casing. It's so beautifully from yesteryears design sensibilities. Btw the packaging that you will receive your screen in is a lovely briefcase style package with a handle and a large print across the package with those lovely parrots in full "HD". It's absolutely lovely! I'm using this beautiful monitor as a second screen for my laptop. And I can tell you that it is absolutely fantastic! The quality of the display is up to date to modern standards with a beautiful 360 degree viewing angle, sharp and high contrast pixels, and vivid colors! I am so happy with my purchase! PS You also receive a lovely padded bag! Absolutely brilliant for transport or for storing your screen while it's not in use. ViewSonic (and especially this screen) come highly recommended from this buyer!

I bought this for returning to the office & business travel. Everyone that sees it goes off and buys one! Makes hosting conference calls much easier through having a second screen as would at your normal desktop. Shipped with cables to mini hdmi and a neat sleeve. Very pleased.

Seems light weight, great for on-the-go. Comes with a neoprene sleeve to keep it safe when carrying. Display is not as crisp as my Dell Precision 5480 that it’s connected to, and the colours seem a little washed out. Hence it dropped a star. That’s ok for me, I only use office applications and AutoCAD. This is connected via USB-C, haven’t tried HDMI. But it is a great portable monitor requiring only the supplied USB-C cable for video and power.

Easy to use, lightweight and great screen

I have spent over 4 hours trying to get this extended portable screen to work. On set up it appeared to work . then the next day the screen kept blanking out. I have tried absolutly everything. I read reviews as i needed simple but this has been far from that. Apparently , the cable provided is insufficient and I have no idea what cable I now need to but to make it work. Waste of my time and energy. Just but an expensive mode and get it over and done with !

I bought this so that I can carry a second monitor with me between offices and home. It's a lovely lightweight monitor and comes with a protective sleeve which wasn't mentioned in the description. It's powered by USB C so no need for an extra connection to mains power.

Read all the reviews before purchasing. Screen size and weight/portability critical and it comes with it's own case, which I thought was a great benefit. Used with my laptop as a workstation in our apartment during a one month trip to Spain in October. Worked well, slightly dull screen colours but happy with the productivity. Easy to carry in the special pocket in my backpack with my laptop so treated with care. However; just opened to set up at our Christmas Break for work stuff ... screen fuzzy/broken. Conclusion: this product is too fragile for travel use: lesson learnt!

For price, it is great. Picture quality is decent and build quality good. Prefer this to a no name brand.

Given its price point, it gives great value. Great visuals when watching videos with audio that is not too bad. Very lightweight and thin as well.

Ein BIldschirm, der dadurch auffällt, daß man keinerlei Probleme hat sondern ihn auspackt und loslegt. Die beiden Kabel (USB 3 für Strom und HDMI für das Bild) anschließen und es geht los. Ideal als Zweitmonitor für das Notebook im Urlaub oder als Monitor für den Raspberry Pi. Sehr gute Auflösung, helles Bild auch in Innenräumen die dem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt sind und ohne Treiber bei Linux und Windows sofort startklar. Und das i-Tüpfelchen: Viewsonic ist ein Hersteller aus Taiwan.
