This is a great safe.. my husband wanted near bedside safe as well, and this one is perfect. It's a good size, it opens QUICKLY with key, or fingerprint, or code. Once it's unlocked it just pops right open, which is what you need to happen with a bedside safe. It has an internal light as well, and I absolutely love the finish on this safe. Easy to set up and secure.. very good quality.

Ok, I have not extensively tried to defeat the gun safe in my truck (I don't want to damage my truck.) With that said - I am extremely confident in stashing my EDC while I go into a gun-free zone. It is sturdy, and well designed - the finger print reader has functioned well in extreme conditions. I will purchase again! I want one in each vehicle!
