I purchased this product one week ago and I am more than satisfied with the purchase. The product was true to size, color and design. The rug is so soft and flexible. I love it and its going to be perfect for my granddaughter who will be discharged from the hospital soon.

I love this mat and so do my grandsons ages 6 years and 6 months. My daughter says the older one loves to sit on the mat and play while his baby brother learns how to roll over. Both of the boys seem to really enjoy it and my daughter enjoys the peace and quiet and knowing they're safe and entertaining themselves. This was a Christmas present but I'm ordering another for my home for when the grand babies visit! The fabric is soft and although I was expecting it to puff up a bit more, it's thick enough to make our wood floors much more comfortable. I also love how big it is; it fits nicely on the living room floor while still leaving room to walk around. Both of the boys fit comfortably and have their own space on the mat.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I did a lot of research because I wanted a baby play mat with a nice cushion, bold colors and zero carpet. I made that mistake once. This mat is plush and no carpet. Lots of colorful letters, numbers and images. Baby loves it! He started grabbing at it before we could place it on the floor. This is giving playtime joy! Great price, too. Design: Beautiful, bold, vibrant colors and designs. Grip: Playmat lies flat and snug to the floor. No slipping or trip hazards.

This is a great rug. Super soft and has a little cushion. It was easy to throw in the washer when needed to clean. Easy to vacuum and holds up well

I'm giving this product 3 stars for several reasons. The positive first. This play mat is indeed, very colorful and soft to the touch. It did get a little thicker with time. The description states the material is 100% cotton. I don't know if that is really accurate, but the mat is free of chemical smell so that's promising. I purchased this for my granddaughter who is 4 months old. She absolutely loves it. She gets plenty of tummy time on it and the colorful pictures hold her attention. On a negative note...there is a hump in the middle of the mat that won't lay flat. After leaving the mat out and open for one month now, the hump is still present. I even put several books on it but after one week of that...the hump remains. Right now, this doesn't pose a huge problem as my granddaughter isn't crawling or walking. I imagine I'll have to get rid of it when she's able to walk on it. Definitely a tripping hazard. Also, if the mat is machine washable, there are no instructions on drying. I'm afraid if I follow the washing instructions, I'll ruin the mat. By then it will be too late for a return. I have read reviews that the Seller does not respond to questions. So, my final thoughts are that this mat is fine for infants but if you're looking for something for your toddler, stick with those thick, cushy mats that come in puzzle like pieces and are very sturdy.

Very soft and squishy, my baby loves it. A good play mat. Also good for babies who are learning to crawl as it has a very soft and smooth surface, which helps them move easier.
