The rings are too small for the holes
Sadly I had to send this back. 😣Three stars because it would be kinda nice, if it all fit together the way ut was meant to.Firstly, for the positive, the main shaft and bottom stand seem sturdy: the shaft screw into the bottom round plate and unscrew easy, no wobbling. 👍🏼Now for the 👎🏼: out of 16 (sixteen!) dowel rungs, only 2 (two) will fit into the pre-drilled holes on the shaft and not fall off. They seem to be made of different wood each, which would not be a big deal (no it’s not a different “vein” of wood, it’s different wood), and do not all have the same thickness (the difference isn’t seen on naked eye, but it is different). Therefore, when inserted into their position, they wiggle (a lot) and do not stay put.Which makes me believe that if I try to put pasta on, they’ll fall off each time, making me pick up the dowels and re-hang the pasta strands over and over, and that won’t do.I tried to fit each dowel on each hole on both sides. Time consuming. And to no avail. So I’m sadly returning it, hoping to find another one like this, which dowels will fit into their holes without falling off.In regards to ratings:-I cannot rate if they come clean easy, but being wood, with a light flour dusting on each, they would hold the pasta well, letting it slide off, and then probably wipe down easy or hand wash and dry right away to store.-Assembly would be simple if, as I said, things fit.-It’d be simple to use, as it’s a main shaft with dowels placed like a spiral ladder, so easy to turn around and keep pasta separated.Back to my wooden spoons, hanging in a pot, until I find my next solution. 😔

Great for lots of pasta but needs to be taller
Great drying rack, only issue is pasta can only be 6.5 inches on the first rung. Easily fixed by putting rack on top of a old coffee can. Holds way more pasta than my old one.
