I feel like for the price
Lovely art cards. My only gripe is that they're not pre-cut, or even prefforated lines. I feel like for the price, some of the work should be done. However, once cut out, they are great. My son, who is 4, really enjoys them. I've already recommended them to other moms.

Missing pages and very bent
this book is useless without all of the postcards. The item came bent up, and missing pages of postcards.

Great tool!
Nice selection of postcards for my 6 year old! Great directions on how to teach the principles as well.

Great quality, for easy introduction to art.
Love this series! I have young kids and teach in a rurual area. Not a lot of museums to go to around here. These cards are a perfect way to introduce art to young ones. They are hands on and great quality. This book is only the postcards not the "how to" book. After cutting apart the postcards you do not have a book left at all. So if you want the instructions for using them you need the "How to use Child Size Masterpieces". However I do know some moms that use with out that book. They create their own games and drills to help the kids learn.

Five Stars
Nice selection of pictures, and color coding. Easy to use, and children at home seem interested in exploring them.

Careful!
The concept is wonderful. A set of art cards printed to introduce art to the very young. But the actual product brought some unpleasant surprises. I wish I'd known the following:1. Four art cards are on the back cover and exposed to wear before you receive it.2. The cutting lines printed on the back of the art cards may not be centered properly around the art on the front side!3. The additional "art cards" provided for the front of your folders/envelopes are on the front cover. The images are reduced and cropped, with a black border on three sides.4. Each "level" book has an identical matching exercise as the first "step". Companion matching exercises are the second "step". Grouping is the third "step". In each book (level) the task (step) is slightly more difficult.I'm back to buy the next two books so that I can have a series of identical matching exercises of increasing difficulty to present before I present the companion matching. Seems these should be sold by "step" rather than "level".

Interests baby
Our 7 month old loves looking at and touching the variety of pictures. Great for talking and pointing interaction.

Good Intro for really young kids
I thought this would be a great way to get my kids into art, but I found that it was kind of simple. I think that it would be nice to have some scavenger hunt games or story starter ideas for the kids to get them to really look at it. We use them and somewhat enjoy them. In the end, we just prefer to head to the art museum.

A part of a series
The book itself is amazing. To use it well though, you'd need the how-to book.In a nutshell, it's good, it gives out good material, but I now need the other books in the series.
