This is an amazing recreation of Mugler's Pure Havane. As such, it delivers far more than expected at this price point. It starts out bold and boozy and settles into a warm, inviting tobacco base that lingers just right. It smells like autumn when the leaves are turning and you want to curl up in a nice warm blanket with a hot toddy and enjoy a good book.In terms of performance, it projects well without being overpowering. You’ll get noticed, but not in an aggressive way. It strikes a balance between being assertive and subtle, making it versatile for both day and night. It hangs on for about 8 hours on my skin, dying down to a skin scent after about six hours.The bottle presentation is clean and modern. The weighty glass and sleek design add a touch of sophistication that wouldn’t look out of place on a high-end shelf. It’s clear that thought went into both the fragrance and its presentation.This is a definite winner, and at this price point it's a safe blind buy.

This is a very nice fragrance. I own both the original Insurrection II and the "Wild" flanker. The original was a nice fragrance that smells a lot like Creed Aventus. This flanker (it isn't really a flanker in the true sense since it smells completely different fwiw) is a clone of the AMen Pure Havane and Pure Malt lines. As others have said it is a very convincing clone. If you are smelling them side by side you can tell the difference. But just presented a random sample without the "real thing" to compare against it would be hard to tell. The real difference is in the opening. For the first 10 - 15 minutes this one has a bit harsher tone to it. The scents come through less blended and a bit more "chemical". Not bad, just not as smooth as the fragrance it's emulating. After that though they are very similar. It smooths out fine with a bit of time and lasts a long time. Really the drydown is where it's at with this fragrance. Put it on 30 - 45 minutes before you go out and you will be in the sweet spot. Like AMen it projects quite well. People around you will know you are wearing it. The smell is sweet, tobacco/whiskey with some vanilla and chocolate. Mix in some spices and you got it. It is a very bold scent. I would use it any time it is cool. Not great for warm weather. Overall, this is definitely worth $20 no question about it. If you like smelling delicious this is for you.

The only thing that could be better in this fragrance is the duration. I hope Projection, sillage and potency are going to be increasing over time. I have not smelled "Pure Havane" (the fragrance this one is inspired in) but I like this perfume very much. It is a honey-tobacco combination.

Solid fall and winter fragrance, wish the performance was better. Projection is pretty weak, lasts a decent 6-7 hours. A little on the mature side.

This is not a heavy tobacco fragrance like a lot of others. This one is light. It just smells so good. That honey and tobacco are a chef’s kiss! If you like tobacco and honey check this out, you might just be pleasantly surprised.

Huele bien pero no perdura.

This stuff is amazing. Smokey, spicey, gourmand-ish, and dark amber....all combine to make this a very good performer and perfect for those cold months. First day i wore it, i got 9 hours+, today i got about 7 hours out of it.

I've had this for a few months and I've worn it quite a few times. Date nights, Netflix and Chill 😉, casual wear and to work. I absolutely love this fragrance! In the opening the honey, vanilla and tobacco are very prominent. It is has a very warm and almost gourmand smell. As it be dries down the opening notes get softer and I get whiffs of chocolate. Longevity depends on what I'm doing. Normal wear it seems good but isn't a huge projector. Decent sillage the first couple of hours and I get whiffs after a few hours as I move around. It's easy on the nose.I'm a maintenance machinist and machine repair mechanic, I've worn this several times to work. The fragrance held up to my sweating and performed nicely. After 8 hours at work it's a subtle skin scent.It is perfect for date nights out or in. It's definitely a scent a woman enjoys snuggling up next to.It's not a beast mode performer but for the price, you can't beat it.
