When they say INSTANT heat, they REALLY mean INSTANT!
This is a big and heavy box of 25 large heat packs for the equivalent to less than £1 each.My partner buys heat pads from the £1 shops and she generally gets 1 large or two small, as these are as big as the large ones she gets the box is good value at under £20 for 25 and you get 5 cotton sleeves to put them in as well!We spent a fairly long time twisting and squeezing folding and pressing with no heat, we were sure we had a duff batch but my daughter wanted to try so we let her, she managed to pop the inner bag (to date we have used half a dozen of these but are yet to manage to activate one ourselves, we need a younger, less scared of breaking it person to do it for us!They heat up to boiling water temperature in about 4 or 5 seconds, really unexpected and really impressive. We think it must be a similar chemical reaction that was used in those small self heating coffee coffee shots that were available a few years ago.You have to be quick to get it into one of the supplied bags before you get burnt by it!Sadly they may as well be filled with boiling water because they only stay hot for as long as boiling water would if it were in a similar plastic bag, not nearly long enough for my partners needs! We found wrapping it up in a tea towel easier and less dangerous given the speed of the transition. If you need a hot hit, these are undeniably it, if you need a longer warm pad they sadly don't do that! There is no information on how to best dispose of the depleted bags, so they just go in the general waste bag, I just hope there is nothing environmentally dangerous in them, that said we have never really thought this aspect through with the ones she buys from the £1 shop!I would say there is a lot here for the money and if this is your thing then go for it, they are amazing! Not Heat packs more like warm tepid packs.
Ok so i have been a supporter of heat packs of all sorts of shapes sizes and uses. These im afraid look the part but but do not work in the way intended. Maybe the batch i got was a duff box? When and if you can break the seal by folding the pack in two you got treated to something like a warm pouch for about 5 minutes after that time it ends up going cold and your left feeling like someone somewhere is laughing at you.

Hot and healing🔥🏥
These come with soft cloth bags. The packs are quote bulky but easy use. They heat up very rapidly then once in the bag they can be used to warm muscles as necessary. The give out heat for around 15 to 30 minutes.

Good for on the go aches
These hot packs are very good for on the go use. I keep one or two in my bag for an emergency. The get very hot, hot enough to soothe most aches and pains, but the heat doesnt last that long unfortunately. My issue with these is just how much waste they create as they are disposable. They are also large and heavy to store and expensive overall compared to reusable forms of heat therapy.
