Harvard at its best
It was by far the best book I purchased from Amazon lately it combines so many different things that seem to be irrelevant but somehow they correlate so beautifully. I wish you could make more books like this or touch some different fields with the same imagination and passion and creativity

Not a book for me.
While the book was informative, I was overwhelmed by the topics discussed, and not used to the dry tone used. Probably, this is not a book for me, but I will still encourage readers with a deep interest in facts and policies to pick this up.*I got an ARC in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley

Who's afraid of government now?
Rather heavy going. Tends to be very abstract even when dealing with practical matters. Also, he seems to assume that the main dangers we face come from policy makers in government. In reality or biggest threats come from big business and its clever use of advertising and the media generally. It will be interesting to see how his rather academic approach measures up to the reality of Trump's highly business-oriented presidency.

A 'must read' book. Clear, easily understood and answers a lot of unanswered questions.

well that escalated quickly
This book was a moderate Democratic Party guide to moderate Republican governance...when I started grad school.Now, it looks like some kind of hyperpartisan anarcho-commie-enviro-space-utopia dream. But consider that this book's flaws are the reasons Facebook, Google, Amazon, and Twitter have utterly trashed privacy and rendered human rights powerless in the face of corporations and police. At the time it was written, it was obviously dystopian. now that Donald Trump and Ajit Pai have achieved and surpassed the invasive world it imagined, it feels like the Care Bears only even more quaint.

Gute Zusammenfassung
der Argumente für "Nudging" und möglicherweise gibt es aus der Perspektive der Regierenden tatsächlich keine Alternative dazu.Um der Wahrheit die Ehre zu geben, ist der von Sunstein thematisierte Einfluss aber nur EINE Seite von behavioral sciences im Dienst der Regierung. Nicht alle ihrer Praktiken werden wohl so bereitwillig veröffentlicht.
