WAY better than the original elite paddles 🔥
The Scuf Elite Paddles are excellent. I wasn't a fan of the original elite controller paddles. They felt forced in there place and never sat right with me. I previously owned a Scuf, which broke after about two years of heavy gaming. (Yes, controllers can't last a long time if you don't rage). I'm very competitive, have been for years. I play a lot of FPS games. Having access to paddles on the back makes it easier to control my right analog to look in any direction while jumping, sliding, or anything else that requires my fingers to go back and forth between the RAS and the buttons quickly. After realizing I hated the elite paddles I started to get a bit bothered. I spent all this money on this controller.. the main purpose being the paddles and I didn't enjoy them. Finding this I was overjoyed. I've always preferred the Scuf paddles and having them on my elite has helped me substantially. I no longer accidentally hit the wrong paddle because of placement and can shred kids again like it's a regular Scuf. The directional pad is also pretty nice. It's smooth and helps tremendously by adding a precision to the D-pad I didn't know I needed. I would definitely recommend.

Nope
So, I ripped up the packaging and can't return this -- that's on me. But I would not recommend these paddles, especially for the price. To be homest, if this hadn't been $40 I probably wouldn't bother writing a review, either.Anyway, the problem is the paddles don't engage the buttons very well -- definitely not well enough to rely on them in the heat of a firefight. I play a lot of Rainbow Six Siege and I primarily use the paddles in that game for crouching and leaning. These paddles are JUST unreliable enough that they aren't reliable at all. You habe to press so hard that you're actually manipulating the whole controller into a different angle which makes all other buttons unreliable. If you're not playing an online MP game it wouldn't be that big of a deal but in a game where every second counts, this is a deal-breaker. Back to the stock paddles for me.Other than that, I really like the build quality and the extra weight they add to the elite. Oh well.

Not for everyone
I got this and sent it back within a day from receiving it. I've been using the Elite controller for 2 years, now, and love it. I find the paddles on it to be perfect for me. I'm able to use my left and ride pinky and ring fingers to push each button, while using the index for triggers and bumpers. When I put this adapter on, I found myself having difficulty reaching the middle to paddles. I didn't quite like how they were all going straight down the battery door. To me, it's not very ergonomically friendly. As far as the build, this feels to be very well built, and I thought the D-pad attachment was pretty cool, but not worth keeping just for that little piece.I'll not say this is a must have, nor will I say to avoid it. All I can say is give it a fair assessment. Sometimes, when you know your play style so well, that assessment may not even take long.

Scuff paddles + Elite paddles + Modifications = Greatness
**THE PICTURE WITH THIS IS AFTER MY OWN PERSONAL MODIFICATIONS**These paddles do a Great job of staying out of the way, like the standard elite controller paddles, but the paddles closest to the middle of the controller were too difficult to reach and press. Fix this I simply removed those, added the longer elite controller paddles, then used a hacksaw to cut the two outer paddles that came with this product. In doing this I found a perfect middle ground between the elite paddles and the scuff ones. I personally enjoyed this product by itself more than I did the paddles that came with the standard elite controller, However I’m very picky and willing to change things i however I’m very picky so doing this was the best move for me. Everything came as expected and as it looks in the product description. 4/5

Great value, durable product
The comfort of these paddles is insane. Much better than the xbox elite paddles. The only thing that is difficult is breaking old muscle memory and getting the hang of always being able to look while jumping, aiming, etc

Personally Disappointed
Overall I'm disappointed.Pros:Exceptional build quality - feel much better than stock elite paddles and D-padD-pad would probably be excellent for most gamers, but for my mostly Rocket League experience, not really what I neededPackaging is clean and professional and makes you feel like you've made a great purchaseCons:Paddles are exceptionally stiff and with a very short throw - personally, this means I end up smashing them way too hard and hurting my handsInside paddles are very difficult to reach with my little baby handsWhile positioning is easier to avoid accidental clicks than on stock paddles, also kind of requires you to hold the controller a funky way to have access to all your buttonsMy hands are 11 inches long from the bottom of my palm to the top of my middle finger, so probably a little smaller than your average hand. Playing Rocket League with these paddles for about two weeks and I seem to have managed to sustain my first ever gaming-related injury. Feels like I tore a ligament in my right hand trying to reach for the right side paddles, right trigger, and right joystick simultaneously, and now the joint to my right pinky is screwed up and my pinky kind of "clicks" between bent enough for gaming and full extension.Won't blame it entirely on the paddles, definitely some user error, but for this user, the ergonomics are just not right.

Makes the perfect controller out of an Elite 1!
I still prefer my Elite 1 with these paddles to my Elite series 2. I use the D-pad on my series 2 currently even though it isn't a perfect fit. A great bundle here. Great placement. Fits my hands well, I'm 5'9 about 180 and very active with decent sized hands, if that helps at all....?
