Waterproof Quilted Sherpa Recliner Cover by OakRidge Comforts, Brown

This recliner cover is perfect for the Geri-chair my husband uses and helps keep him from sliding out of the chair. It is soft and warm and the arm rests protect him from a metal arm rest. The only reason it didn't get a five is because I wish it had straps to hold the back up. The flaps do help some, but a strap around the top would have kept it more securely in place. However, I would not hesitate to recommend it to someone seeking a comfy waterproof cover.

My lift chair is oversized with slippery leather upholstery. I bought the cover to cozy up the cold upholstery and keep me from sliding out when I stood up. For that it works like a charm which is why I rated it 5 stars! What I'm still fiddling with is keeping the cover in place (with this oversized, overstuffed model the size of the cover doesn't have the excess fabric it needs) and believe I have found the answer - stiff, wide elastic to hold the cover in place over the top of the chair and sheets of that rubber shelf liner between the cover and the arms and seat of the chair to give the cover something to grip. All in all I'm happy with the purchase - you won't have any of the issues I've had with a regular sized, fabric upholstered chair. It also washes and dries like a dream. I'm planning to buy another one for one of my other chairs.

It doesn't stay in place. Has to be repositioned just about every time I get up which is highly annoying. I waited too long to return but am thinking of getting something better, just can't at the moment. It also said machine washable and according to its tag only in cold water gentle cycle which is all well and fine but then you can't tumble dry even on low but must line dry. Kind of difficult in an apartment!

I purchased this to cover a leather recliner. There is nothing that helps to keep this cover in place so every time you sit down, the back panel falls down behind your neck, the arm rest panels cave in so they end up wedged in the cushions. Every time you stand up, you have to straighten the cover out again. Very disappointed in the quality, which is very light weight, lending to the cover's sloppy tendencies.

We really like this cover a lot! It was easy to install and even though I was a little concerned it would stay in place it has worked perfectly. The cover even helps keep the user warmer in the winter months which is ideal for those who are cold natured.

While I like the fit of this product and it is soft, it doesn't wash that nicely. Be careful! Wash it separately and even then, it picked up lots of pills and white junk that I had to sit and pick off. Definitely not pet friendly no matter what they try to tell you.

These covers are just okay. They slip and slide around on leather furniture, but they still protect it too, so I them three stars. They would probably be better on fabric furniture.
