Great breathable and even heat distributing pad!
My body temperature skyrockets when I sleep. I couldn't sleep well because of needing to have the room at least 60 degrees but also needing to have the feeling of covers on me. I would wake up drenched, hot, but also chilly. After doing much research, I changed what kind of bedding I was using. First I went with this cooling mattress pad (Allrange Breathable Coolmax Quilted Mattress Pad). It doesn't have a special "cooling" feature, except for the fact that what it's made of helps to distribute the heat your body creates. For sheets I chose bamboo sheets from Hotel Sheets Direct. Bamboo also helps to distribute body heat. I added the Since Silk comforter- it also distributes your heat. It is made with 100% mulberry silk filling and has a cotton cover. Lightweight and breathable, yet it contours to the body, so there are no "cold air pockets". It is great for summer, and if warmer is preferred/needed, they recommend using two inside your duvet cover. For the duvet cover, I again went with a bamboo one from Hotel Sheets Direct. Lastly, I chose the lovely lightweight muslin blanket from NTBay- it is perfect for just a little more warmth/decoration on top of the duvet. The very first night that I put all these items together on my bed was AMAZING...all the issues I used to have have been eliminated! I have washed all bedding items (except the comforter) on cold and dried on low. All do shrink some. I have a full size bed and bought the mattress cover and sheets in the full size, the comforter, duvet cover, and this gauze blanket in queen size. Hope this review is helpful to others!

Keeps the body cool
We live where itโs hot year round always 80-90 we have one in the wall ac in living room. So our bed gets warm/hot. I am one that love the hot as I seem to get cold easily. I am also young but get hot flashes at night since my second little was born. Was so tired of being hot and sweaty in my bed so I looked up cooling mattress protector. Wanted something to keep the bed cooler and help when my littles inevitably spill something. Well about a week or two after we bought this just earlier in the day was thinking does this really do the job. Like the world wanted to remind me: my little ones diaper that was not full and positioned correctly some how managed to leak all over... so big wet spot on the bed.... Shortly after little one got up(I was not going to wake baby to change sheets) I removed the sheet and cover.... a little did get thru to the bed but the first two layers did get most of the liquid. Anyway by the time it was time for nap the cover was still in washer/dryer. Holy cow was the bed super HOT. I was like man this cover is really really awesome! We are so happy with this purchase!Definitely keeps you cool in bed!Fits perfectly on our huge deep king bed. Have never had it pop up while sleeping or putting it on.

Very strong perfume odor and does NOT feel like cotton at all
I will be contacting Amazon to find out what I can do as I'm so unsatisfied with this item. I haven't put it on my bed yet so I can't speak to the qualities of cool sleep etc- but after opening the box (actually before) I was overwhelmed by a strong odor of something like laundry perfume. I left it outside for a few days (which I would have anyway because of the pandemic safety procedures I perform with all incoming items) and then finally opened it. The material felt very synthetic, rough and stiff, nothing like I expected. I expected it to feel more like cotton sheets material. I bought it specifically because, "Allrange Breathable Coolmax Quilted Mattress Pad, Coolmax and Cotton Fabric Cover..." and "..This sweat absorbing mattress pad is made of CoolMax fabric and 200-thread-count cotton..."-- however now I learn it's actually 80/20 cotton/poly. I resent that deception. It feels like Tyvek so I even question that content description. I thought I'd give it a fair go and wash it to get rid of the odor and with the thought it might soften after washing but it stills feels very synthetic, and had residual subtle creases like you might see in paper or plastic sheeting and feels abrasive with fine fibers visible as one sees with low-quality synthetics. I suspect it is not as silent as stated but probably won't get to that point as I'm unlikely to keep/use it. The odor went away however so that's something. I since have dug deeper in the reviews and was disappointed to find the many low-star reviews all say it fails to be cooling. Also one person conveyed that they were offered a $50 incentive to remove/alter their review.

Serves it's purpose
I was looking for a mattress topper to cover my matress so it doesn't get stains on it. Also, for comfort and something to keep me from waking up because I'm hot and sweaty. I decided to give this a try. I've actually had this for a little over a month but just now decided to right a review to give my honest opinion with some time of use. As far as comfort it's not the greatest but it's not horrible either. I think it just depends on the comfort level of each person. My opinion of keeping you cool is okay. I still get hot at night but I'm not waking up sweating anymore so for me it does help but doesn't solve my problem of still being hot. I will say that I do sleep better than before so overall I'll give it a 8 out of 10.

Saved my Sleep
Works as claimed. I thought I was out of luck as an extremely hot sleeper, I thought my hormones were out of regulation and that I was just going to have to deal with waking up drenched, hot, sticky and uncomfortable for forever. When I learned that my expensive new Casper mattress may be making my hot sleep issues worse my heart sank. Itโs so comfy outside of being a literal oven. I tried this before committing to the $400+ bed fans and chili pads and on the first night my mattress stayed cool. No sweat-no sticky sheets all night-I could even use my weighted blanket without getting over-heated. I could cry. I've been losing sleep for a year due to overheating and I can see that light.

Helped with heat retension of Sealy memory foam mattress
My partner and I had been struggling with heat retension in our memory foam mattress for about a year since we bought it. I did a lot of research to find this mattress protector. It had good reviews and seemed appropriate for us. We were pleasantly surprised to find it has made a difference to the heat problem with our mattress, particularily in the Summer months. It has cut the heat retension down by about 50-70%. Don't expect miracles, but do expect a noticable difference. I will recommend to a friend with the same problem. It fit our thick mattress (spring matttess with attached topper) well.
