Root Unscented Timberline Pillar Candles, 2-Inch by 6-Inch Tall, Box of 3, Dark Olive

I like these canldes they are solid candles. I got them for my family. In case you are Catholic, they are for the Three Days of Darkness. The priest said only beeswax candles will do. I had them blessed. I have been giving them to my family with the instructions for the Three Days of Dakrness.

Perfect size and it's nice to find candles that are not scented. Although I enjoy a scented candle it bothers my husband. These are great for when the power goes out or just for having around the house in the colder months.

I should no better than to light a candle without a holder. I'm used to the ones that "implode," i.e., melt on the inside but maintain the outer core. These melted all over the place. It was actually kind of cool to have the long black wax "icicles" hanging off the mantle, but a big job cleaning it up.

Perfect size

These are NOT beeswax candles -- they are "Beeswax Color" candles. Very Misleading.Upon arrival, I opened the box and held a candle up to my nose, excited to smell the wonderful beeswax scent. They smelled of dust + cardboard. I read the sticker on the bottom, it read "BEESWAX" (see pic). I called the Root Candle company to ask what they are made from -- I was told; "paraffin, some other stuff and a little bit of beeswax." I calmly expressed my disappointment. It's my bad, I didn't read the description carefully enough. But, I find imitation products like this very frustrating and so felt compelled to write a review for those of you looking for real beeswax candles.all that said, Amazon's return process was very simple and efficient.

Nice candles overall. They arrived on time and were exactly as advertised. The only downside was that they weren't completely level on the bottom.

Very badly packaged, but we liked the quality, scent & price.

Burns well down into candle and lights up the side wall surrounding wick. No dripping yet. Burns evenly and doesn't smoke. Good candles. Gonna light one now!
