I have purchased this several times because it is an effective medication. It is an inexpensive salve that works well. However, when I received my last purchase, the tube was neither shrink-wrapped or sealed at the top of container. That is unacceptable. I considered returning it for that reason, but this one time decided to trust its cleanliness. I hope my next purchase of this product is better protected!

I got a breast reduction in March of 2022 and experienced a lot of unforeseen complications that resulted in a large wound dehiscence (breakdown) at the T junction of my right breast. Initially the doctor had me use the wet to dry method to heal the wound but I found it to be too painful for such a long going process of letting my wound heal on its own. My wound while not infected was very painful, and I was scared that it would never close on its own. I then started to use medihoney along with antibacterial saline solution, changing my sterile gauze dressings twice a day and saw some improvement, but discovered quickly that I had a honey allergy (which was why every time I used the honey I felt an intense burning sensation). At my wits end I resolved myself to baring with the honey until I was healed, but my mother read reviews on Amazon and found solosite. Painless and scentless, the gel is translucent and surprisingly non sticky. After the first night I noticed my wound had closed up considerably, and after consistent use for just two weeks I can almost say it’s fully closed with a scar that’s not too bad. I am so happy I found this product and highly recommend it for moist wound healing.

I have been struggling with horrible leg wounds for almost a year and they were to the point that my doctor talked about amputating both of them . I had both legs surgically debrided 4 months ago because the wounds were so deep and necrotic. This left me with huge wounds covering most of my shin up to my knee. Since then I have tried all kinds of stuff but it just made things worse and I was constantly itching. Two weeks ago I found out I had an allergy to the antibiotics in the ointment I used. I read everything I could about different salves creams and ointments and this came highly recommended. After a week I can already see impressive healing. The wounds at the surface are already turning into a nice pink scar and the parts of the wound that are necrotic are starting to break down. This gel helps keep the wound moist while leaving my healthy skin intact and it absorbs the drainage by expanding. I’m so shocked at how amazing this stuff is.
