Nice, sturdy pens with a soft plastic grip.
I have a thing for stationary supplies. Pens, mechanical pencils, art supplies - it's like they come here to die as I never use all of them to their full potential. Gel pens, though? Super, I can use them for work, for note taking, for doodling, for writing out checks, various greeting cards through the year, so much...The box is nice, a bit overkill compared to the bubble packaging that we're used to. Each pen had a sticker on it - annoying, but I checked on and it can be removed. The pens have a soft plastic feel, like velvet, good for a nice grip. I drew a line with these and compared to a Bic stick, Flair felt point, and InkJoy to see how they all stack up - image shown.Other reviewers comment on long-term flaws like caps stretching and pens leaking - I'll watch for issues and report back should I see anything.

Pretty good!
Pretty good! The ink is amazing and smooth! Only problem is sometimes the ball feels like it gets stuck but it doesn’t affect much! And sometimes the caps get loose and won’t stay on but most importantly the person I got them for likes them so that’s what matters most! It all comes down to preference!

Smoothest writing you'll get for a super reasonable price!
I was in need of a set of new pens when I came across this link . For $12 dollars you get a set of 12 pens at $1 a piece, which in my opinion is pretty cheap. The packaging itself was very aesthetic (which is partly why I decided on this set), and it was just some flimsy paper box. It looks and feels like its made of quality. Now as for the pens itself trust me when I say I know good quality pens. As a college student I bust through so many pens its ridiculous. Now these pens could rival the expensive pilot pen; the ink flows out super smoothly and dark. Although the pen itself may not look as pretty, it is sleek in design and has a nice grip making it good for long note taking sessions. All in all I'd say this is definitely a purchase worth your money!

Isn’t durable. Plastic cap
I love the point on these pens but the quality of the pen itself and the plastic is not very good. This is the second box I have purchased because I love how they write but unfortunately after using them the caps expand or crack and don’t fit correctly on the pen and they easily slide off. Makes it difficult for a person like me that uses them for my job where I am stand all day and frequently are putting them in and taking out of my pocket. Would be much easier if sitting at my desk. Also I mark my pants frequently since the cap doesn’t stay on. I’mbummed since I love point and the ink.

Ideal pen
This pen is a classic that I reorder time and time again. It has a professional, classic look; it's quite luxurious, actually. Most importantly, the ink is amazing. It writes well. It's smooth, so you don't even need to apply pressure for the ink to come out. This helps a lot with your wrist and hand joints. The ink is also fast-drying. So it doesn't smear when you write quickly and your hand glides over the portion that was just written. This makes for effortless writing. The ink it also very dark and opaque, which is perfect. It's great for faux calligraphy! It's definitely an inky pen, but the ink has never leaked through paper before (not even close). Also, this is a really good price, even compared to the G2 pilot pens at walmart, especially considering they work better.

After buying 100 pens looking for the best, this is it.
I have been searching for this pen my whole life, I am a dispatcher for an oil company and I am consistently using ink, I can burn through a pack of 12 pens in 6 months, and that’s being conservative, I also have an extreme urge to have a good bold pen that is consistent, and this is it! Sleek and minimalistic, smooth and dark, very bold and clean in a second, no smearing whatsoever, actually leaves a trace on carbon copy paper, honestly I don’t think I will ever use another pen I have saved this under my “will be consistently ordering twice a year for the rest of my life” list and have taken the time to write this review just to let the next pilot g-2 user looking to upgrade, buy this product!!!

Nice ink line and handle; poor drying and anti-smudge
The pens were nice but definitely not anti-smudge or smear. You have to wait for the ink to dry a while before it doesn’t rub off or smear. Definitely would not buy for a left handed person.

Don't be deceived by reviews - cost me a pair of suit pants and my dignity
Don't be deceived by the reviews (I was), these pens have failed me in nearly every possible way and even cost me a pair of suit pants.PROS-Matte black looks cool and slightly larger pen size feels nice-When working properly they write smoothlyCONS-Caps are loose from the start and if you put a cap on the back of the pen even once, it stretches it too wide to ever fit/stay back on the pen-The pens almost always take some scribbling to get them to start writing. However the tip is sharp (I had 0.7mm) and several times literally ripped the paper I was attempting to write on as I tried to scribble some ink out.-I put a brand new pen straight from the box in my pocket as I headed to an important meeting at work (in full suit). I never ended up needing to take notes and noticed when I got back to my desk that ink had leaked through my pocket and pants. When I investigated, the bottom of the pen (NOT THE TIP) had started leaking ink heavily for no apparent reason. I did not sit on the pen, I did not squish the pen, it was in an otherwise empty pocket all alone. It simply started leaking from the bottom. I had a pocket with a well of blank ink at the bottom, an ink covered leg, and stained suit pants. My colleagues tried to help me clean up the mess but the pants are ruined. True cost of these pens is $100+ for me! Thanks Kihamp!Unless you always wear a pocket protector and are okay with severely disappointing pens, I can't recommend YOU STAY AWAY enough.EDIT: They emailed me, now a year and a half later offering me amazon gift cards to remove my negative comment. Take that how you will, I am not removing my objective comment. Plus the pants these pens ruined cost more than the gift cards I was offered.
