(UPDATE to previous review.) Two days later I ordered another one of these bad boys. I use it for my work and home laptop. Same quality, same sound and same satisfaction as with the first speaker. Love this little guy. I paired it with my wife's and the quality of sound was amazing. The instructions to pair are not entirely accurate. I would watch the video instead. Not complicated but the video method works and is easy to follow. I haven't fully taken advantage of the portable feature (speaker on the go) but I can easily see that it would be convenient and effective. Do it! You won't be disappointed.Believe the hype! I looked over the reviews and was impressed by the responses. The images showed it as well-made and durable. I like that it's waterproof as this would be a shower speaker for my wife. Her current speaker is tinny and super low quality. For $30 I figured I couldn't go wrong. It arrived well-packaged and with a 50% charge. It connected to our phones easily and quickly. We are thoroughly impressed with the sound. This little guy packs a punch. My only word of caution is you cannot custom tune this model with the SoundCore app. It appears this is the only model not supported. I'm happy with the stock preset so it really wasn't an issue. This would make a great speaker for work or for my home laptop. I will definitely order one for myself.

I needed a speaker to teach an exercise class in a large room at the senior center (~20 participants). This one works perfectly for that. Sound is loud enough without distorting. Charge lasts several hours. Easy to pair via bluetooth with my cell phone. Happy with the price! Half the price of a JBL charge and works just as well.

This is a fantastic, compact speaker — better than a competitor brand that costs twice as much! It has good power, charges via USB-C, and holds a long charge (23 hours!) It’s waterproof, easy to clean, and perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. I will use it on long car trips for music and podcasts, and the volume gets nice and loud. Bluetooth setup was quick and hassle-free, and charging is super simple. Overall, a great speaker — I would definitely buy it again. Fun times ahead!

My original Soundcore lasted eight years before it stopped holding a charge for long. It owed me nothing so I got this Soundcore2. It is pretty much the same as the original. No blue light on the front but two lights on the top. Both say 24 hour playing time. The original actually lasted longer, which was great. The Soundcore 2 sticks to that 24 hours.The thicker outer casing give it a more rounded look at the corners. Also the power on/off and bluetooth connection tones are different and nicer. I mainly use it for my white noise and sleeping audio on YouTube so it is just fine for that. But these speakers are also great for patio music listening. Used the original for that many times. The only downfall is the volume on these, and a lot of speakers. I wish they could find a way to make the volume up and down more like the dials we had on receivers and not preset increments so we can pick that point between being a bit too loud or a bit too low.

Great speaker for a great price. I was outside in the rain (rain was on and off) for about 8 hrs the other day. I had the speaker covered by a deck railing only, so it was still getting wet. Still works great and throws surprisingly good bass and volume for it's size. Haven't dropped it yet, but it seems very well constructed. The rubberized texture is nice to keep it from slipping off the random places it goes.

Awesome sound and the battery life is great. I purchased this to be used when I'm working in my garden with my wife. It has great sound quality and love the fact that it's water proof as I did get it wet with no effects. I also use it when I'm in the shower. This product is easy to carry around everywhere as it fits in my wifes purse, we take it with us as we love to get takeout meals and eat at parks around Oahu.

Great for the price. Don't expect it to be the equivalent of a legit soundbar. Waterproof is a huge plus. We use it for having near the hot tub where we don't need or want blasting music. Pairs easily and the charge lasts quite a while. For this price point I'm happy with the product.

I have several other bluetooth speakers already but the price tag on this one ($30 on sale) was one I couldn't resist. I figured it would be good to use outdoors seeing as how it's waterproof and also provide some music while soaking in the tub.TBH I didn't expect much but I had seen a video comparing this speaker to the "pill" and another well known speaker from a company that starts with J. And it seemed to have been very well received by several online reviewers.They weren't lying. This thing puts out an amazing amount of sound for such a small form factor. The build looks and feels premium as well, which is nice compared to other speakers in this price range.It paired very easily and gave life back to my aging iPod Touch 4th gen. I placed it on my work desk with a couple 3D printed items on top and it was rocking so hard it vibrated them off the top of the speaker! LOL.Give this a try, especially if you catch it on sale... you won't be disappointed.
