I had to order these for this heavy glass light cover in my bathroom on the vent fan on the ceiling. They are longer than what I had previously but they work perfectly! Very strong! So happy!

I ordered these to replace a spring on.recessed lighting fixture. They are so small in comparison that you’ll need to triple them to hold you retainer ring/fixture in place. For the same cost I could have bough a replacement fixture ring locally, saved myself a weeks time waiting for these to be delivered and avoided the ongoing disappointment in Amazon supplying garbage and missing their delivery timeframes. Even my garbage can was disappointed when this item was put into it.

This torsion spring is a slightly thicker gauge than the stock Sinden return spring, but it's working as a great replacement!

I bought these to replace the broken springs on some older, square, glass recessed light covers. The springs are easy to install but they are not strong enough to hold the glass cover up.

The wires are so thin that they aren't able to hold up the fixture under tension. I would say they are half as thick as a metal coat hanger. They are too thin and flimsy to work. Junk product....

Ordered these to replace a few in my bathroom that broke over 20 years. These are no where near as sturdy. A little nervous they’ll keep the fixtures in place.

I added TWO of these springs to EACH side of the light and it still wouldn’t hold up the glass in our light fixtures. Granted they were very old, from the 70’s, but it didn’t hold up the cover even with two springs. I’m sure they would be fine with newer cheaper lights but if you have a heavy glass cover, there is just not enough tension to keep it up. Much thinner and cheaper than the ones that broke from old age.
