Work for putting on compression socks and getting a good grip on twist-off jar lids.

Far inferior to the Jobst donning gloves!
Being as the green/blue Sigvaris donning gloves were on back order everywhere I looked (with no idea when it would be back), I ordered the Jobst as well as the black Sigvaris..and surprisingly enough the Jobst were a much preferred choice! They not only fit and stay better on your hands than the Sigarvis, but the little grippers work so much better in actually getting the compression stocking on. I've had the green Sigvaris Juzo (a flat mat that aids even more when used together with donning gloves!) So definitely order the Jobst and NOT the (all famous..sigh) Sigvaris. Having said that I will add that in buying the actual compression stockings, then Sigvaris is the better choice. Especially in the 'sheer' selection..I buy the short large..18-20mg. They're just snug enough for fantastic relief.

They make the process of putting on and taking off compression socks a little easier.
My doctor suggested that I start wearing compression socks. It took about 30 seconds for me to realize that “donning” and “doffing” compression socks is not a joyride. In fact, it’s process that can reasonably called miserable, especially if you’ve lost strength in your arms. For most, some kind of assistive device will be a necessity. And to make using whatever device you choose a little easier, you’ll need gloves similar to these. You can also use gloves generally used for gardening. These are less expensive than the Sigvaris product reviewed here. I decided to go with the Sigvaris primarily because of their expertise in the area. I don’t think this is a bad choice. The gloves are well made with latex covering the full finger area The latex grips the socks firmly without slippage – a very important consideration. I chose the Large size and they fit snugly, but well. As I said, they make the process of putting on and taking off compression socks a little easier. Jerry

New Donning Gloves Look Good - LACK DURABILITY FOR THEIR FUNCTION
HORRIBLE substitute for the older green rubber donning gloves which I have used since 2017... My wife has been using compression hose since 2017, at which time, we both purchased sets of the green rubber ones... While she was able to put on and remove them at that time, I usually ony assisted every so often as needed... When she had back issues in 2022, I began to be more involved in helping her 'don' and 'un-don' the hose... In October 2025, I had to re-order some new compression hose and saw the newer version on Amazon... (Sigvaris stopped making the rubber 'greenies' available)... So, I decided to order the 'newer' version only because they were more stylish and 'glove' like... The day the new hose was delivered, I began installing and removing them every morning and evening for my wife... After ONLY 58 Days of morning and evening use, the 'prickly' tips wore down leaving rounded peaks on the gripping area, making them completely useless!!!... The gloves just glided over the rounded 'peaks' of the grabbing area... Fortunately, I still had my 'greenies' from 2017, and have been using them daily since that time... I submitted the Sigvaris gloves for a return to Amazon, but since I had gone beyond the 30 day return policy, I was not able to return them to Amazon... Amazon did put me in contact with the Vendor who offered me a 15% refund... I responded that I will have still paid 85% for a pair of gloves unusable for their intended purpose, and not even usable for gardening... I finally wrote off their cost ((only $26 for 2 pair -1 for each of us ) and charged it off to 'peace of mind'... My wife still has her gloves , but she is only using them to 'touch up' after I have fully put then on her... I might also mention, that not only are they useless in putting on or taking off the compression hose, the threading on the back of her gloves is becoming unraveled, the SAME as mine were additionally at 57 days... In my remarks to the vendor, I questioned the value of Sigvaris's Quality Control department in letting a product be marketed that has no durability but IS STYLISH... Sigvaris has dis-continued the availability of purchasing the old fashioned 'greenie' rubber style gloves... I did purchase another pair from another Amazon vendor of the 'greenie' type... They only had 2 size options, Small and Medium... I purchased the Med in hopes that I can use them along with my current Large greenies... I can put them on...its a really tight fit... but, I can still use them if my 2017's ever give out!... My initial assumption was, that since Sigvaris had put their name to their supporting glove ware, that they would be of the same quality of the compression hose they were intended to be used for... It confirms what they say about making ASSUMPTIONS!!!...

Run small
While helpful, the gloves run quite small.

DONT WORK FOR COMPRESSION STOCKINGS
These do NOT grip well enough to pull on compression hose. Not at all…they should not be advertised for using with compression socks. The best thing we’ve found so far is FISH-SCALE designed gripping gloves. They hold on well to your compression socks so you can slide the kinks out your hose so you can get them on.

I really like these donning gloves for my Sigvaris stockings. I had different ones in the past and they did not last very long. I am hoping these will last longer. The fit is good!
