Scrapbook Adhesivesby 3L Grand, E-Z Runner Ultra Strong Adhesive Refill

The EZ Runner Grand was my first ever glue runner gun used for paper crafting. I really liked the difference from those small glue runners that always got stuck and did not adhere paper to paper very well. After using up all the glue in the original EZ Runner gun, I needed a refill and thought for sure the Ultra Strong (Clear Case) refill would be just as good. NOT! Major fail. It leaves a gluey mess and does not always roll out smoothly. There aren't the tiny strips, but one long glue line like those snail runners, but not even as good. There's an annoying "string" when lifting off the paper and it's hard to maneuver. I'm going to use this up but will never buy this product again. Going back to the Red Refill cartridge with the tiny strips because it's much cleaner and easy to use, and the adherence to card stock and paper is very very good.

I love this tape system. I have used all types of tape runners. When I purchased this tape runner the only tape that I found was the ‘mini strip tape’ in the red housing. Although marked permanent it did not seem to hold the paper projects together. I tried this refill and it’s the best ever. I already used one refill to make an album. My only concern is that the second refill fell apart after 3 or 4 uses. I read other reviews similar but it just seems it is hit or miss. I ordered three more and one of the three the cardboard fell off the back of the packaging and the refill fell apart. Even with these issues this is great tape

Pro's of this product: little to no learning curve how to use it. The opaque cartridge it comes with is STELLAR. You can put one little piece down, or a whole line. Saves on adhesive tremendously and works in small spaces. Cons: the "snail adhesive" cartridge had issues when I put it in, sticking to itself, gears not seated. I got it fixed, but still doesn't want to work right. Overall, I'm willing to stay with this and use the opaque cartridges for sure.

I must had a bad tape runner because this clear one didn’t dispense correctly. It would get stuck to the opening before I could even put it on anything. I would have to clear the opening than try to use it again on my projects. Other than that, it worked pretty well. The white tape works so much better, will be using that one from now on.

I usually purchase the red refill. Got this one on a whim because it was at a great price. Installing in the runner was easy. I did notice that the adhesive clumps together as your move the runner. Sometimes I have to move the paper forward because there was a break in the adhesive. It was great for the price but annoying trying to get through a big project.

Easy to use, and I love not running out in the middle of a project cuz these refills go on and on. The small adhesive rollers started to bug me with how quickly they run out, the pilling or skipping that happens, so many plastic dispensers piling up for recycling. Very pleased with changing over to this system.

When I first used it as I lifted it off the paper it pulled a string of glue up with it. I learned that if you move it to the side before you lift it up it cuts it off so there is no string of glue. It seems to adhere well.

I have bought 5 of these adhesive spool refills total and had to end of up throwing one barely used away due to the tape loosening and getting all tangled. Each spool at some point had the adhesive will get stuck on the dispenser and it "rolls" up on the paper in little balls. I reached out to the seller and they suggested I put in a "return application" with amazon and I just don't have time for all of that. I just won't buy this product again, so buyer beware.
