This is my 3rd shaving brush I still have my other 2 a Dovo Silver Tip very high quality soft with micarta type head that has a flat spot ground on it so you can lay it down on the side without it rolling away. A Merkur Futur Brush came with their Adjustable razor with snap on top. How this brush compares. 1. Quality seems good and and it has a lot of bristles. The bristles seems a bit stiff but in this case seems to be a good thing for working up lather quicker, compared to my Dovo brush which is a bit softer and has more of a fuller bulb shape to the bristles. The quality of the bristles seems pretty high comparable to the Dovo brush just a tad different shape and a slightly stiffer. The base of this chromed brush matches the R89 Twist and Grand screw razor pattern nicely and has a hefty feel to it. The chrome finish seems similar to the razors which still look like new after 7yrs so I hope the brush will last as long as well. Of my 3 brushes the Futur set brush I like the least. As for traveling I suppose you could pack this brush but it is a bit hefty therefore I prefer to take my Dovo along in the travel bag and leave this one at home. It is expensive but does hold lather and works well which I would expect at this price point. Hope this helps someone thinking about purchasing it.

Bought this as a gift for Dad. Helped give him the best shave he's ever had.

I like this a lot. It's small enough to move around easily, but the bristles provide good coverage and are the right balance between stiff enough to get under hairs, but soft enough not to feel scratchy. The bristles also are well-tied and hold together very well.

The brush is too small for the price charged. See picture next to a quarter. The base also has an undefined arrow graphic. Not sure what to make of it.

This exact brush is sold at Art of Shaving at a higher price. It's top notch quality and worth the splurge. I gave it as a gift with pride. It's being enjoyed with every use. It's holding up well and is eye-catching gorgeous!

Ich habe den Pinsel passend zu meinem R89 Rasierhobel als Ergänzung bestellt. Er kam ohne Beschädigungen und Kratzer bei mir an. Optisch sieht er sehr hochwertig aus und hat auch ein solides Gewicht. Wenn man zuviel Schaum auf den Griff bekommt, wird dieser etwas rutschig, die Modelle mit bauchigem Griff sind wahrscheinlich griffiger. Das stellt für mich jedoch kein Problem dar,bei hat die Optik den Ausschlag gegeben. Wenn man etwas bemängeln könnte, dann wären das ein paar einzelne Haare die etwas ungekämmt seitlich weg stehen (siehe Bild) , aber die stören mich kaum. Die Borsten des Pinsels sind relativ fest, aber angenehm und trocknen recht rasch. Das Aufschäumen der Rasierseife bzw. Creme funktioniert sehr gut mit diesem Pinsel. Alles in allem also ein sehr schönes Produkt eines deutschen Qualitätsherstellers. Was auch noch erwähnenswert ist, ist dass es Ersatzpinselköpfe gibt, falls man mal Ersatz benötigt und das Griffteil weiter verwenden möchte. Aber ich denke das wird bei mir erst in paar Jahren anstehen.

Ce blaireau est non seulement magnifique, mais très robuste et fait pour durer très longtemps !..... Certes le prix n'est pas donné, mais la qualité se paie !..... En plus la partie haute (les poils) se dévisse et l'on peut mettre à la place des poils de blaireau, des poils synthétiques de très grande qualité et qui ne perdent pas de poils !.... Personnellement je n'emploie plus que des poils synthétiques, car les blaireaux avec poils de blaireaux perdent toujours des poils y compris le blaireau décrit ici même.

Impeccable engineering - sublime Muhle quality. Bought as a replacement as mine was showing signs of wear after 7 years of daily use. Slightly tarnished and the hair had obviously worn down (about 25% from new), so when I was gifted an Amazon voucher, decided to replace. I genuinely believe this is the finest brush money can buy. Expensive? Yes, worth it? Absolutely! Partner with a Muhle R89 in the same finish, plus the accompanying stand, and this will be ‘pride of place’in your bathroom for years.

veramente un buon pennello, anche l'estetica è buona. Nel tempo (1 anno) ha mantenuto perfettamente la sua forma e funzionalità nonostante l'uso quotidiano. In complesso un pennello che consiglio vivamente. La spedizione è stata nei tempi previsti.
