This is literally the worst product I've ever purchased from Amazon. Despite numerous attempts, everything cooked in this air fryer tastes and smells like plastic. In the product manual, it says the first time will emit a strong odor and that it is "normal." However, we have tried cooking various foods numerous times, and have gotten the same horrific tasting, awful smelling results each time. We have really wanted an air fryer for quite some time, but if this is what is to be expected then I'll pass. Absolutely horrendous.

Only used it twice. Seems to cook meat well, haven't tried anything else yet. I wish that there was a better instruction section on simple use as I am not a cook and want to keep it simple. Thus 4 stars. Cleans up well, easy to use. I suggest cooking spray on bottom section. I bought olive oil cooking spray for spraying the meat. I feel I will get better with practice. Glad I got it.

fast and easy and no oil

Bought this hoping it would be good and it is. No bad odor. Tried fries from scratch and chicken breast and chicken wings. Everything turned out great. Look online for recipes. The small book it comes with doesn't have much.

I was hesitant to buy this fryer after seeing the reviews stating there was a bad taste and smell. I haven't had any issues. I love the way it cooks wings, roasted veggies and fries and everything else I've tried. I am using it everyday instead of the oven. I missed fried foods and am glad to have found a healthy alternative.
