RED HEART E305.3961 Super Saver Ombre Yarn, Dragon Fruit

Absolutely beautiful, soft and easy to work with.I need more yarn, but they would only allow me to purchase 4 bundles.I will try to find more.I usually make a tissue box cover to match the Afghan.

I appreciate that Red Heart doesn’t use dye lots, making it less stressful to start a project and then, finding you dodnt buy enough, ordering more.

It isn't the softest like the kind used for baby items but it's nice.It isn't the super thick kind but a great type for making afghans or scarfs.It was a great price from what I remember.

There are several beautiful colors in this yarn but I haven't found another ombre yarn that flows so beautifully from light to dark or vise versa! It makes any project stand out!!

One large skein of this will do the trick. I haven't found any knots which makes finishing so much easier without a lot of knots to work back in. Plus they can throw it in the washer and dryer at the shelter. For my blankets, I use a J hook, chain 80 and work a single crochet into 2nd chain from hook. Then double crochet, single, double, single to end. If you end on a double, chain one and turn. Then double into single along the row, chain two if ending on single crochet and turn. Couldn't be simpler.

I liked that this yarn came in a large enough skein to do several projects. My main issue with it was as the yarn changed colors they feel and consistency of the sections also changed. The colors are beautiful but be aware of this if you are working on a larger project. Overall it is good yarn.
