Buy it from A reputable supplier
Well, it arrived in a torn box. A screw on top was stripped out, and q screw on the back was missing. Not sure if this was a return. The fan itself has a rattle from time to time. I don’t have time to pack it up and return it.

Need to inspect fan prior to turning on the unit.
Ok, I've had my cooler for almost a month and I absolutely love it. I use it to cool down my garage where my dog hangs out when it gets hot outside. Now for the not so good stuff. I don't blame the product or the company but like many of you reported the unit making a horrible noise and fan blades being damaged once you turn the unit on. Before I even turned on the cooler I took the front louvers off to inspect the fan by spinning it with my hand to see if it would spin freely. Mine too was stuck and chaffing against the fan housing. Upon further inspection I noticed that the fan motor had shifted within its mounting clamp (see pic). This clamp is what keeps the fan blades centered within the fan housing. All I had to do is gain access to the back by removing the filter media then remove the fan assembly from the unit 6 screws (helps if you have two people). You will have to remove the fan from the unit, Losen the clamp and center the fan so it spins freely again. I put it all back together with the help of my wife and now it's GTG. If it hadn't been for all the reviews stating their issues, I would of had the same problem (a broken unit). In all I'm happy just took a little adjustment from being jolted around during its travels.Update: 26 May 2024, awesome unit. Still going strong. Been taking it camping with me during the summer months and everyone loved it. The only thing I had to replace was the water pump so far. Not surprised due to how much use it gets.

Missing parts
The framing on the wheel casters are missing bolts holding it to the bottom of the fan. The blower motor is missing screws holding it to the housing. This is my second one of these and this one is ridiculously manufactured for $1500. You would think you could get all of the screws and nuts and bolts.
