Great product!
I use this for work and it’s perfect! I would like if it locked open though.

Easy to Use Smoke Detector Tester
I have used a few different smoke detector testers and this one is the best one I have used. It has the rubber end so it does not slip of the test button and I am able to test a wide variety of button types.

Compact
Product folds down small enough to fit into my bag with the forms and other tools I carry. The tip has 2 sides for different placement of alarm. When extended it hold up to the pressure of pushing the button.

Works great.
A little hard to focus that point on the little tiny test button but it works. Sometimes I use the handle since it more blunt. Hard to miss. I still use an extendable paint pole though. Easier to manage. Pain to carry but easier to use.

Poor design
The pole slides back down each time it is extended and pressed to test the smoke alarms. There is no locking latch that I have found. Poor design.
