Great Value
I really like the power-head! I've had a lot of Stihls and so far I can't tell the difference. I bought a 36 inch Oregon Bar and Skip tooth Oregon chain and have used it to buck up some logs. I put it on my Alaska chainsaw mill with some Grandberg ripping chain and have slabbed up one big log so far. Log was 28 inches wide, about as wide as the mill will handle on a 36 inch bar and it did great 6 feet long and about 8 9/4 slabs. I figure it has paid for it's self. One negative about the saw is this. The air filter is not made to OEM standards. OEM air filters have a soft gasket on them where they mate up with the saw. The filter that came with my power-head did not just a hard plastic instead of soft rubber. It does not do a 100% job of filtering. Get a Oregon filter Part # 30-853. I bought mine off of Ebay. You do not need to be afraid of this power-head it works great!

Great cheap saw with minor downsides
You can’t beat the value for your money on this saw. The only advice I’ll give is to get yourself a high output oiler and install it (or modify the existing one) before you even start this thing up. The factory one does not put out enough oil for any size bar you want to run on this thing. Other than that, it’s a great saw that I use exclusively for a sawmill, just like everyone else. It’s had no issues after modifying the oil pump

Nice looking saw.
Haven't gotten a chance to use it yet, but I'm sure it will be a great saw.

Good deal for the money
My review is in comparison to a stihl ms660. I will say that i have not had the chance to put a lot of hours on this saw, but the hours i have put in it i will review on here. aprox 20hr rev: be prepared to assemble. the saw runs great. oiler is high flow. gas tank seeps over extended amount of time. recommend to store empty unless you plan on picking it back up in a day or two. after two weeks tank will leave gas residue but nothing close to a big leak. maybe a couple ounces a week. can replace with oem stihl tank. all compatible parts. handle, and cord feel cheap. i used a 24” stihl bar and chain. would recommend a 25” oregon bar and chain. my setup runs great. hardly bogs in red oak. does great in pine. lots of power. maybe more than the stihl 660. sounds great runs top notch. would recommend changing to oem stihl filters and spark plug and cord and top handle over time. i have not had any issues with the holzforma yet despite gas seep. GREAT SAW FOR THE MONEY. would recomend to anyone starting out on the budget or if you need a big saw for special occasions. i would not be scared to run this saw 10 hours a day. but the exterior commodities on a stihl are much more sturdy and professional for daily regular use. never had a stihl gas tank leak at all which is why i gave it 4 stars. deserves 5 but my product does slowly seep gas

Easy to start, runs and idles smoothly.
So far so good, unbound and had to install the handle wrap and the dogs only. Filled it up with 50/1 using stihl mix and it started on the fifth pull using the choke exactly like I would starting my stihl saws. Runs great and idles smoothly. I will adjust the air intake after a couple tanks ran through. I bought the 2 year protection plan just in case, after all, it's made in China, but I am very impressed so far. It also came with an aluminum bottom skid plate which protects the fuel tank and plastic handle.

What a pile of crap
Bought it about a month ago and it won't start I have followed every instruction to the letter went on line to see what issues people have had and how they resolved them and I have not been able to resolve the issue. Also the screws that hold the handle on keep backing out when ever I try to start it. On top of that I have put bar oil in the reservoir and it keeps leaking out from somewhere, it's not the cap. The only thing I haven't tried yet because I ordered the part and it hasn't arrived yet is swapping out the ignition coil. I will not go this route again that's for sure. I now have a $350 paper weight.

As close to the real thing as you can get
It's not quite a Stihl, but close. I cut a lot of wood and have several chainsaws of various brand, and this one hangs right with them and even outperforms many higher priced units. I could not be happier with the product or the price.

Insane Bargain for a great saw
Running this saw with a 36" bar on a chainsaw mill.Rips through 30+" eastern pine logs without a hint of struggle. Is it heavy - yeah, with a 36" bar its heavy but still very controllable.Dropping those 30+" trees is so much easier, and safer, than using my MS290 with a 20" bar.Came well packed - easy to assemble if you start the handle's screws before trying to attach the handle.Don't worry the holes in the handle to actually line up if you run the screws in before hand to tap the holes first.Ran it on premix 40:1 gas and took it easy for the first two tanks - now running it on 50:1 mixed using 93 octane. Saw starts easily hot or cold and I've never needed the decompression valve to get it going.Wish I invested in this saw years ago.
