Q: Can I wash my baby's face without it burning its eyes with this soap?I know it should but I want to make sure

No need to wash your baby's face. I let it run into my eyes to see how much it would sting, it's not tear proof but it only slightly irritates but then again I've gotten tear in my eyes to see if it really is, they all slightly sting, so it stings about the same as the tear proof ones.

Q: Is it water-based or oil based?

It's soaponified oil, which does not leave an oily residue, but rather bonds oils to itself, as a positive and negative ion will attract one another. This is the purest of soaps. I use on my infant and myself.

Q: Is this safe for a HE washing machine?
