Nostalgia-Fest
Josh takes the reader through all the TV programmes that shaped the 90's for him. Each chapter focuses on a television show some of them obvious favourites like Noel's House Party, TFI Friday or Fun House and others are more obscure but make you smile in reminiscence of gems such as 999 or Tomorrow's World. Whilst the main focus of the book is the TV shows, Josh works through them in chronological order so it also forms an autobiographical account of Josh's life alongside the TV shows and also covers topical news stories from the decade such as the 1997 General Election or Princess Diana's death.I really, really enjoyed this book, it's a massive nostalgia fest for anyone who lived through the 90's in the UK. I think it helps further if you were a child or teenager in the 90's but I think you'd enjoy it regardless. I was definitely the target audience, I also LOVED Neighbours in the early 90's to the extent that I owned the Pannini sticker album circa 1994. So if you're ever nostalgic for the 90's I think you would like this bookIt's one of those books that will make you want to chat to the person nearest to you to discuss what you've just read and ask if they also remember Get Your Own Back or Knightmare. This book also reminded me about my long-forgotten favourite childhood book called Please Mrs Butler and for that I'm very grateful.I haven't previously paid much attention to Josh's comedy career but I can honestly say this was the funniest book that I've read in a while, Josh has a sarcastic, dry sense of humour and I found myself regularly chuckling whilst reading. I highly recommend this book for a light-hearted, humourous and nostalgic read.

Well written, funny and a joy to read!
As someone who grew up in the 90's watching tons of telly with my siblings and spending summer holidays in South Devon - this book brought back so many fond memories! It really was a great era for telly! Well written and funny book, was an absolute joy to read!! Loved it! Highly recommend!

Oh The Memories!
You will not regret purchasing this book, especially if you grew up in the 90s! This book has brought back some very happy childhood memories, from TV shows I had forgotten even existed to growing up in this little corner of the country (I'm from Devon too), where getting a 5th TV channel was big news! I finished the book in a day as it was so funny and entertaining, best book I've bought I'm a long time.

Simply glorious
What a magnificent book. As someone born in 1981 who caught the 90s just right, it was a nostalgic joyride from beginning to end. Very much my scene. A glorious read. Tip of the hat to Josh for his wonderful writing. Can’t wait for the patenting hell book. The bar has been set very high

Nicely nostalgic
Not boring, lots of things to remember and some laughs along the way. I quite enjoyed it.

It just didn't keep me interested.
I grew up with nineties TV so I am the perfect demographic for this book. It was also well written, can't argue with that. But I just didn't get excited about picking it up to read every night. It was interesting & it brought back memories, I thought I had completely forgot. It was just pleasant......

The best thing about clinging onto my thirties
Is that I could truly appreciate every reference and 90s experience in its fullest. I thought the 90s were pretty dreadful and then I was catapulted back. And what a time to be alive! The Big Breakfast, Nightmare, the twins from Funhouse who ruined our chances of every bagging the boys in our year. Oasis, Blur, John Fashnu and Jeremy Beadle. As a small town girl this book resonated so much. But you don’t need to be a small town person, just someone that existed when teletext did. Utterly joyful, funny, touching and the perfect antidote to a hideous 18 months or so. Go buy it, make yourself happy and full of joy. All hail the 90s and, well Neigbours. RIP Helen Daniels.

Hilarious look back at 90’s British TV
I’ve never seen most of these TV shows, being American, but Josh describes them in perfect and hilarious detail! Getting to the epilogue was genuinely hard because his nostalgic recap made me miss what I wish we could recapture—optimism.
