It arrived a day early! I loved that. Thank you to the seller and the postal service. The clock is bigger than I thought it would be. Very nice and elegant. I understand from the reviews of those familiar with these clocks that this particular one is made in China and thereby inferior in quality to the original make...however, being my first "fancy" clock, I absolutely love it. It chimes the hours although not the half hour, and has an "off" button if you don't want the chimes. And it has an automatic silence for later hours. It takes 4 batteries (1 for the clock hands and 3 for the pendulum). It is delicate, it feels like metal and glass...will clearly break if falls--it is fragile. It does not feel like plastic nor look it. However you can tell it is not made from the best quality materials the truly expensive ones are made from. So, if you don't mind it not being "top quality" but still a well made aesthetic to enjoy...go for it. I did. And so far, so good.

I gave it 4 stars because it's not brass it's plastic. It's accurate it looks beautiful the chime is not too loud except it's plastic I think shouldve been half of the price it is now .I kept it very pretty on my TV stand

looks nice, but chiming was off by 1 hour brand new now after 6 months, it is off by 2 hours. Chiming is faint too! Save your money!!

My grandfather had an anniversary clock that fascinated me when I was a child. I loved the Winchester chimes. I finally got my own on my 25th anniversary. Unfortunately, it didn't make it during a recent move during my 53rd year of marriage. I purchased the Bulova clock as a replacement. The workmanship is, unfortunately, not as good as the-good-old-days, but what is? It's lovely, complete with Winchester chimes, and it works for me!

Love this clock. It isn't plastic, it's medal. It chimes and keeps proper time so far. I've only had it for a few hours. I love, love it.

I ordered this to be a gift. I was skeptical from the photos that it would look as good as it was portrayed in the photo. It was! The glass dome was strong, the base was metal, and the crystal pendulum clusters were brilliant acrylic and looked like glass. I did not put batteries in to see how it kept time, but I had no qualms about giving it as a gift. For the price, this is a quality purchase.

Bought as an anniversary present. Works well, sounds nice and keeps good time. Parents-in-law are really happy with it.

Nice look and easy to use; however, there is a small elliptical piece that I do not know what to do with it, no instruction; good to include diagrams in the instruction sheet, thanks.
