Specially designed double sided adhesive tape. The installaion is very simple. Press firmly. Remove the release paper. Place the flooring material on top of the exposed tape and press firmly. For maximum bond strength tap with rubber mallet. The number of strips required for adhesion may vary based on different backing types. The tape is intentionally designed with a low peel strength but a very high shear which means the tape prevents the tread from shifting. The top side of the tape contains more adhesion strength than the bottom side. This allows the tape to be more easily removable. If you want to remove the treads simply peel up very slowly. It is possible that the adhesive could leave a residue which in most cases can be removed with a damp cloth. Note: Due to wide variations in hardwood finishes (chemical finishes such as stains) experts recommend users conduct a small test area before installing large areas with ANY type of tape.
