Better than I Expected
I'm not sure most of the people who wrote reviews on here actually read the book. Most of them are probably haters that have known her through the years or people who just didn't like Winter from watching her reality show. Anyway here is my review:Coming from NYC I could relate to a lot of things she was saying about wanting to be around the glitz and glam. That's just how it is when your growing up in the best city in the world that is run by money and you come from a place where there isn't much money. Did she do a lot of stupid things? Ofcourse but she was young. Would I have done SOME of the same things in her place, I can't say because her life is different from mines and I am sure there is more to the story than the book says. What I was surprised to find out is that she messed around with Damon Dash and was close to most of Junior Mafia. The book isn't a creative novel or biography, it's about a typical girl growing up in NYC like most of us and was after money after being exposed to it. There are a million Winter Ramos's in NYC...you just don't know them...and yes even white girls.Anyway overall I liked the book and the juicy details, it's always cool to find out which celebrity sucked in bed or not, atleast I found that part interesting. I do agree that she should of had someone edit the book because there were some mistakes in grammer, but nothing too large that you couldn't understand what she really meant.I don't know the girl personally, I can just say I can relate to some of what she wrote about coming from the same place that she came from. Is she s nitch? In a way: yes. But it seems to be the way to go these days if you want to make money and sell your soul to a degree...but I am not here to judge her.I don't think a lot of people no here read this book. I think they just rated it based on not liking Winter in general. I enjoyed the book and the juicy details.

Simply Trash!!! Just OK
This book ain't no different from Superhead's book. She did the exact same thing by trying to give someone a "code name" just like Karrine Steffans did by giving Big Poppa she did the exact same thing by naming hers Big Money - which is noboby but Young Jezzy!! Come on the "raspy voice", the R&B singer (Keysha Coles) the connection to BMF gave it away. I read the BMF book Rise and Fall. What made Big Money so special by not naming his name. There was no originality to this story. She dressed and disguised her story as "I'm just getting mines", but let's call a spade a spade and just say you were an industry groupie/hoe, she laid down with so many people and then tried to say it was all about the money. No matter how you slice it, she was hoeing and giving her p*ssy a party just like every other groupie and she kept doing it time and time again. She put so many peoples personal business out there like Emily's information about her messing with Fat Joe and DWade!!! The book was vicious. And I thought she was supposed to take Lor'el's part of the book. Eww!!! she made that girl look lost and stupid, but it made her look like the gold digger she is, which is why Slim from Cash Money did not give her any money!!! Now she's pregnant in real life and funny how she didn't disclose who her baby's father is; she thought she was gonna blow up and L&HH,but she wasn't even a main storyline she was more like a bench player, she wasn't even in the finale!! She needs to sit down somewhere, she trying too hard to be somebody and that's why it's slow in coming!!! But definitely putting this dudes business on blast, like who's penis is the biggest and smallest is definitely not a good look!!! Winter Boo, go back to styling artist and drumming up drama on L&HH your future as an author is bleak!!! I'm just saying this book was trash!!!

Should be read for entertainment purposes ONLY, not empowerment
Finished this book in 2 days. Very quick read. She started the book getting straight to the point, you didnt have to skip chapters for the juicy details to finally start. After reading the negative reviews; I do see some validity in the comments. But I strictly bought this book for fun purposes, not wisdom. Yes the language in the book is overall ghetto, but it was humorous. It took courage for her to put this book out because she provided name, penis sizes, and explicit details. Admitting things that most women would try to keep hidden. But overall; she is an admitted "Sleep with a guy for shoes, bags, and cash" type of girl. And in all instances she was played and treated poorly, but it was expected because its how she carried herself. Her message to women was to want more for yourself, also that all men come with baggage so you might as endure it from the rich ones. Personally, I prefer to swipe my own debit card with money I grossed being productive on Rodeo drive instead of having to endure a terrible sex encounter for a credit card swipe.I agree that no woman should aim for a broke man, but I dont love money to the point Im going to devalue myself to get it. Her message was positive but her delivery was negative. And the point that the she was in hotel rooms less than 24 hours of knowing these rappers, athletes knowing some of them were married and then cry that the man dogged her worse, arent my cup of tea

A Good Read for 21 and Up
Winter Ramos went straight in and set the record straight in terms of her love life and love of hip hop. It took me a minute to figure out who "Big Money" was since his identity was kept a mystery. It intrigued me so much because out of all the men mentioned (Jay-Z, Damon Dash, Swizz Beatz, Jada Kiss, Ja Rule, the Game, etc.) she kept his name a secret, considering that she had the utmost "respect" for him and that he was in a different place now.Overall, the book helped me understand the type of woman that she was. Viewers only gained a glimpse into her personal life because her screen time on L&HH was limited in comparison to other cast members. The book also helped clear up the beef between her and cast mate L'orel.I recommend this book for entertainment purposes for grown ass women only...not for young girls who are still being molded into the women that they are destined to be. This book does not promote independence, self-esteem, integrity, and self-worth. It actually promotes the opposite...

Ive given this book 3 stars as it was entertaining ...
Ive given this book 3 stars as it was entertaining, but Winter Ramos comes across as a money hungry gold-digger looking for the next meal ticket ..... Is it any wonder rappers often have such misogynistic views about women when Ms Ramos perpetuates the myth that women just want money and are prepared to trade off for a bag or car!

boring, all about who she met
I dont like this book its all about who she met in the industry and how they were kickin it...really boring, though it was a book showing how to make it in the industry or how to be a gold digging game player something more fun showing women how grow well dissapontment I already pt the book on sales..since i will not be reading it

Riveting Read
Could not put this book down, did not necessarily like the character but the story was fun, fast paced and salacious. Winter Ramos is not a good writer but this sort of book is more about the gossip and secrets. A white knuckle ride.

Badly written and not that entertaining
Took a while for me to finish this book, only read it when I couldn't sleep because it was a bit boring at times and it's not written that well
