STOMP your way to sight word savvy-ness
STOMP is an easy to use educational game that encourages: speed, sight word knowledge, turn taking, manual dexterity, and memorization as key components in this terrific game. This game is not only cute but it is also a high demand game. Whenever it's being used, others invariably want to join in on the fun. I'm glad I bought this. I've found this to be a durable game. I've had this for a while and all the pieces are fully functional and look great.

Great game for centers or small groups
What primary student wouldn’t want to play a dinosaur game and if it reinforces sight words, it’s a win-win for the student, teacher, or even a parent looking for extra practice that is fun. There were several sets of cards that were color coded. I loved the idea of separating them into several bags from easiest to hardest to individualize instruction. I use them for Daily 5 centers but they could also be used for small group instruction, as well as RTI instruction. My kids love to stomp a word, read it, and then record it. I made up my own recording sheet. It can easily be adapted to include partners that take turns to see who can read the most words or just help each other out reading them. They love the rubber dinosaurs and the sight words are heavy duty cardboard. It’s a favorite choice in my classroom. I even play it over the summer with my grandson at home.

It's such a fun game.
The Squeal of that my granddaughter is the best. She loves this game, and it's perfect for a 4 year old learning her sight words.

Good but wish they used a simpler font
Great tool for learning sight words with one suggested change- use a san serif font with a single story "a" (the kind that looks like an o with a stick). Kids learning sight words are just getting familiar with letters and seeing the two story "a" and "t" with the curly tail on the bottom is confusing.

Excellent Learning Toy
My six year old had fun using one of the dinosaurs to stomp on the word I called out. The words included are broken down by color so you start out with easy words and build up to harder words.

Just as described and the kids love playing it.

Once you play it once kids get bored. Expensive for the quality of the dinosaurs. Do not recommend
