Best for the money
Can’t beat this. I’ve owned 12 of these over the years and you simply can’t beat them! Great sound , very natural, little eq’ ing. Rechargeable Batteries last forever in these. No drop outs!

blows digital out of the water - no interference from wireless devices and cellphones
i have tried line 6 and another cheapish brand of digital wireless for electric guitar and got tired of constant interference issues and extremely limited range. This Sennheiser is incredible for range, sound quality and I get no interference what so ever. Should have bought this years ago, worth every penny. the instructions are not fantastic but it is easy to figure out without them or by using their website. i use it with fluence and seymore humbuckers and don't need to tweak anything when switching guitars on the same transmitter.

Wow
Absolutely fantastic. Frequency response was far more than I expected! I had a different brand that was much cheaper, but it ate batteries - a new set every four hours. This system ran for 15 hours on the included Alkaline batteries and still showed strong battery life after 5 hours on rechargeable (Lithium Ion) batteries, but I was done for the day. With this system, it appears I won't have to change batteries mid-day! I also love the flashing battery low indicator on the receiver.UPDATE: I've been using this for a while now and it's still flawless. I use Enerloop batteries (best brand I've found) and get 11 uninterrupted hours of use before needing to change batteries.

Disappointing…
Typically, I’ve had great experiences with Sennheiser. I’ve had one of their IEMs for years and it has not only been extremely reliable but sounds great. However, the sound quality of this has always been substandard, no matter how much I’ve worked on it to get a good sound. The worst part - when I use it, my guitar tone/volume knobs become terribly “scratchy”, which is awful to hear, especially at a large volume/venue. Would not recommend it, especially for the price

Incredible value for price point, rack mount included
I really appreciate the industrial design on the gen 2 systems. I picked a lavalier to compliment my DJ rig. I used my XSW1 with handheld on a mic stand and XS2 Lav on a groom for a wedding ceremony, I ran the lav at 0db gain and got a hot signal into my mixer. He sounded great and was able to roll the treble off a bit, turn mixer up and pick the bride up during their vows. It has a great omnidirectional pickup pattern.I was not able to full use the included rack mount as the bolt pattern on the new racker and joinery piece is not compatible with gen 1 systems. I'll rework the metal pieces to properly install everything. I do wish they offered a complimentary windscreen for the mic, not that I needed it but will have to source one now for future outdoor use.

Awesome mike for my voice
I've been using Shure for a long time, never liked the SM58 so I bought a SM86 Condenser mike. It was "Better" but still, lacked a lot of punch for my particular vocal.I had the occasion to test out an e935 and I was amazed how well it responded (even compared to the SM86) so I jumped ship and got this kit. Wireless, condenser, Sennheiser!Oh. My. God!! It is so much better for my vocal, I can't say how much everyone in the band is pleased (including me!)Note: Mikes are highly susceptible to voice type. Some (Many) swears by Shure's mikes as it fit theirs perfectly. My advice, try as many brand as you can!!! You can be surprised!!

Good Audio
I'm impressed with the audio quality, the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the mic is plastic and I'm concerned about it's durability.

If you want to buy a wireless microphone set, go for Sennheiser
I had been struggling with the purchase decision for this one. There are so many competing products out there; quite a few in the same price category. I was looking for a reliable, easy to set up system that ships with a microphone that doesn't sound cheap. There were mixed reviews for all the options, from cheap no-name brands to the big names. And in the end it was indeed the name Sennheiser was what won me over ─ and I haven't regretted my choice. This is by far the easiest setup I've ever had. I literally put the battery in, hooked up the receiver, switched on the microphone and I it worked, just like that. I didn't even read the guide. That's exactly what I was looking for as the last thing you want to do at an event is troubleshoot a cumbersome microphone system. Very happy with my choice!
